Excellent pies and sandwiches, if it wasn't for this I definitely wouldn't visit this bakery again. One member of staff has been particularly rude and abrupt the last few times I've called in. I would certainly call more often if she wasn't there.

Usual Stott's service. I asked for 3 meat pies and 2 potato pies and saw the assistant grabbing potato pies but as the previous customer was in my line of vision, I asked again. The assistant merrily said "best to check, 3 meat pies and 2 potato pies" Low and behold what did I get? 4 potato pies and 1 meat.

Pies are wonderful, beautiful pastry and excellent fillings. Bread and cakes are delicious. Staff are lovely, very helpful and friendly.

Nice pies and cakes if any left . Far better than the rubbish at the Darwen services well worth driving a little further down if your passing on the M65 motorway I prefer to support small independent businesses then the big multinationals

Lovely pies and sweet treats, cheap and tasty

Been here a few times. Some of the savoury baked goods can be mixed, I have had a couple of meat and potato pasties that have dry over baked crust and dry filling. Other savouries like the meat pies and sausage rolls are delicious. Their sweet baked goods and cakes are excellent. Brilliant friendly staff.

Excellent breakfast sandwiches and cake selection

Ask them how they make their cheese pies and 80% of their cakes. They are all packet bought just add water. The sausage rolls are a just add water and rusk to some weird dry mixture .It's not homemade as they claim. It's a joke

As i have bad allergies when asked if they could guarentee no cross contamination they were honest and helpful stating all bowls used where washed at high temperatures but would advise not to risk my choice of sandwhich and they would address this type of allergy as i have a rare allergy  cucumber  and it is severe this action was greatly appreciated Staff were all considerate and polite
