Stormfront (Durham)

Bought iPhone X today, set up in shop, given tutorial and went off on merry way. Got home phone wouldn’t start or do anything. Went back to shop and matter sorted without questions or fuss. More than happy with reception and service at Durham store. Have bought numerous things here and any issues have always been resolved. I would recommend them.

Honest review, MUST read Went a couple of days ago to buy an HDMI cable. I tried it and it didn't work (as the computer desk I was using had a different port). I came back to the store the same day, showed a member of staff (a girl) pictures of all the computer ports and how it is not working. She suggested I try it on another computer but I was worried I cannot come back the same day. She said it is fine and that I have 14 days to return it. I was busy with my research so I went back few days after which is today (2nd Feb 2018 around 4pm) and explained the same thing. I was ready for a replacement if they had but they didn't. The guy was nice and showed me which one I'll be looking for. We were ready for a refund but I bought the wrong bank card. I had to run, bring the card I used and came back to the store. Here, things got weird. I came in and I had to explain again the whole problem. There were two girls: A blonde and one whom I was told was the manager. They said I cannot return it!! I told them that I came the same day when I bought it and there was someone who said I can. and today I was about to get a refund, I just had the wrong card!! They insisted that I can't because it was used but I insisted to get a replacement or a refund. So they went together in the back, chatted for few minutes and then processed the refund. Now, If the policy was REALLY not to give a refund, why give it after I insist? You know why, it's because the policy says you can return the item 14 days after purchase if you have the receipt and the item is not damaged. I had the receipt and the cable was in perfect condition. The guy was nice enough to UNDERSTAND and he's an employee I can appreciate. The two other girls (esp "the manager") were not. If I just said yes and accepted, I wouldn't get a refund and that's what they were planning. Glad I know my way around such stupid situations.

Was going to buy from Apple direct but came into store to look at the MacBooks when I was passing. I bought from here because of the service I received, much better than any Apple store and I got a 3 year warranty to top it off.

Really disappointed with the level of service I've just received here. Went in to buy an Apple watch and an iPhone and walked out after the staff member really didn't seem bothered to help. I have bought a Macbook Pro from the Carlisle store, so was wanting to give them my business. I'm now heading to the Apple store in the metro centre instead

What a joke, you now have to pay a tenner to ask a question about any problems you might have with an Apple product... pathetic! My advice, go to a proper Apple store instead. I will certainly never go here again!
