Went there for the first time and my friend had been twice before. Reserved a table in a quiet corner. Both asked for vegetarian chilli and it was not available. There were no signs up to say not available which would have been useful instead waiting in a queue for over 5 minutes. Lack of staff. Chose a vegetarian pizza for myself and my friend had a margarite pizza. Had tap water for drinks. Lovely pizzas. Reasonably priced. No dogs allowed.
When we walked in two young ladies turned away and went to do something else. It was a lovely day so we wanted to eat outside. No tabs allowed outside. Please could somebody bring us menus was greeted by menus are over there. The food was generic backed up by poor service.
Friendly staff, lovely meal and Desert, did have to wait over half an hour for the desert, there is a small play area for the kids, small huts outside, which you can also use. Recommend.
The Stonemasons is a great Marstons pub and restaurant, it's well managed, very clean and well presented outside and inside. We were extremely impressed with the starters and mains we had ordered as these were also very well presented, top quality and really great value for money and a decent amount. These were served by very attentive, cheerful and polite waiter and waitress, We will most definitely return in both near and foreseeable future and would definitely bring family and friends. A VERY THANK YOU AND WELL DONE TO THE MANAGEMENT, CHEF WAITER AND WAITRESS.
Stopped here on our way back from holiday fed up of traffic and all hungry. They were great! Quickly put a few tables together to seat all 12 of us ages 1-90 The food, staff and service was all fantastic. They were very accommodating. Not one complaint from any of us! Would highly recommend.
Eat here last week and really enjoyed the food, our pizza, made by Steven was delicious. The staff were a tentative and extremely polite. Good beer too! We will definitely be returning in the near future.

We booked a table for ourselves, our children and my parents. There was plenty of choice for everyone on the menu. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food arrived in a decent about of time leaving a good gap between starter and mains. The food was delicious!!! Everyone enjoyed their meals, we are planning on coming back again!!! The meal was a great price, and you accept blue light card which was an added bonus!!! Thankyou for a wonderful meal!!!
We found our meals were not a patch on what they used to be at this place. My husband and I both had meals from the lighter bites range. He had beefburgers and fries and I had Hunters chicken. His beefburgers were horrible dry and rubbery. No sauce, tiny onion slices and so called fries which were cold before they reached him. I had the Hunter's chicken. I found it very small and dry. I could not see any BBQ sauce nor taste any cheese. The bacon was stone cold. As for the side salad - that was well past it's sell-by date, all brown round the edges. However, the chips were nice and hot. We have never had such a disappointing meal there before and being pensioners we cannot afford to waste money on such meals. We came away dissatisfied and won't return until you have changed the Chef! We dread to think what a Christmas meal would be like!
