Great restaurant! The prices are great, staff are kind, the food is great and the service is quick. The building is nice and well kept, not too busy even though it's connected to Burger King. I ordered the vegetarian Starter breakfast. It was great. I highly recommend this restaurant when you're on the road.
Hands down the most disgusting run down service station I’ve ever stopped at. Smashed windows, filthy floors, urinals full of... well... urine. If you need the loo on a long journey you might be better off holding it.
The service and food is always good. But there is single overwhelming problem. The hand dryers in the men's toilets do not work, and there are no hand towels. This is very unhygienic and potentially could lead to serious transmission of bugs to food and drink. I have reported the problem numerous times but no action has been taken. For this reason alone I would not recommend this restaurant. Unhygienic!
The place is in a poor state of repair wires hanging from the ceiling, only cold water working, broken soap dispenser and hand dryers taped to the wall barely blowing cold air but clean. The food and service was excellent, which was a very pleasant surprise and more than made up for everything else.
Table service was good. I bought a jacket potato with cheese and beans for £9.99p. Yes a tenner for a microwaved potato with an awful side salad of dry lettuce. Okay to come and sit down with a cup of tea or coffee but pretty awful overall. The best thing is table service with friendly staff. There is a burger king next door that does a very good trade and you will realise why if you eat in the little chef. Avoid.
One of the few Little Chefs hanging on in there. Most are now Star Bucks Great breakfast , friendly staff , quick service. This is what LC did , mostly, so well and is already sorely missed. Yes food snobs turned there nose up at these roadside eateries but after a few hours on the road these were always a great place to have a break. So this one is still open enjoy it while you can.
Great food but minimal service. No problem with the food and we always stop there when we visit the south coast but there's only ever one waitress which means that it can take a while to get your food if it's busy. I love the American Breakfast!
Pleasant and clean, the staff were friendly and the generous portion sized food arrived quickly and hot. The only con, although there was a WiFi signal, it was weak and unable to sustain a connection, the staff didn't know much about it.
The burger king was fine. The cafe attached was understaffed. No tables cleared for ages, mess everywhere. 2 out of 3 ladies toilets had no paper.. Not s great place to stop.
Great Food and service from the staff. The Restaurant was kept very clean and the Olympic Breakfast was the best I have ever had, and that includes my mum's cooking. The Jubilee pancake was fantastic.
