You should be very careful if you want to rent from Stonehouse Lettings. The property I rented last time was so bad, without any ventilation and the carpets were worn off. They also charge you a lot and keep all of your deposit. Be-aware Stonehouse is very bad landlord.

I dealt with Stonehouse over the rental of a property in Aberdeen and I can't thank the team enough for the fast, efficient, friendly, helpful, understanding and professional service they provided. 

I've actually viewed, credit checked,, signed up and moved into the property I saw on their website in a shorter time frame than one of their competitors offered to just view a similar property. I'd be delighted to use them again and would recommend Stonehouse to anyone looking to rent or market a property.Thank you - you turned what is normally a stressful event into a pleasurable experience.

I have recently moved to my new flat rented through Stonehouse and I'd like to say the whole process was very smooth and quick.all staff are really friendly starting from the viewing with valley, the lease arrangements with Bianca and all the correspondence with Lisa they were also very responsive when I asked for some items to be repaired

The staff are relatively nice (Aberdeen), but it is a very unprofessional letting agency. Every time I needed something repaired, I would phone, the woman on the phone would fake interest and say "our engineer will contact you" and then I'd never hear from them again. The only time I've ever actually gotten something fixed was when I phoned the emergency line. 

During inspections, I was always told "oh yeah *insert broken heating, broken bath, etc* was broken before you moved in, it just wasn't fixed" I have never heard of a lettng agency moving a new tenant in without doing repairs. 

After a routine boiler check, the man failed to secure a massive heavy slab of wood that was covering the top of the boiler, when I opened the door to the boiler, I was about an inch away from getting knocked out by a 10lb slab of wood falling on my head. When I reported this all I got was an email asking for proof, because it had fallen with such force it dented the kitchen counter, when I emailed back stated how close I was to getting seriously injured, I was ignored. No apologies or anything. 

I was told when I moved in not to bother doing an inventory because the land lord didn't want one, now I'm pretty sure I'm going to be stuck with the cost of all the repairs that I moved in with. 

Funny story, I can't hoover the bathroom or living room because the flooring literally isn't attached to the floor. The carpet comes away completely and so does the NON WATERPROOF flooring in the bathroom. Most over priced flat I've ever stayed in.
