Sounds legal advise on both the purchase and 3 years later sale of my property. Stokes communicated well and chased the critical blocks to my sale effectively. With a lesser firm my sale would have gone on my longer costing me lots more in time and money. Would not use another solicitor.

For over 15 years- community members including registered charities and my family have engaged Stephen Ward who has been brilliant and helpful with matters of property transactions. I have always enjoyed working with Stephen as he has a great sense of humour and responsibility with integrity and diligence. We are fortunate to have him. All the Best.

Stokes solicitors were instructed to assist with resolving a dispute with a shortfall in build quality project that could not be signed off by building control, therefore with the credit consumer act on our side it was a pretty simple case. Stokes conducted some research and sent out some some letters at great cost with absolutely no benefit what so ever and we are now left in a worse situation than before. Upon raising a complaint to the solicitor concerned, he aimed to praise and justify his fee/works which didn't bare scrutiny and then bickered with me on the telephone causing me to cut the call short. Perhaps this wasn't a suitable case for the firm, however as the customer of a paid service, ultimately in my opinion, the solicitor concerned was completely inept. Very disappointed and expected better, both in results and communication following my complaint.

Jo Dennett recently dealt with the sale of our property. She was very efficient and straightforward to deal with. We would have no hesitation recommending her.

I have recently dealt with two solicitors from stokes. I cannot rate them highly enough. I would not hesitate to use them in the future and can highly recommend them. Stokes Solicitors were recommended by word of mouth. On the two occasions I have used them they have exceeded expectations. Joanne Dennett is quite genuinely THE best solicitor I have ever dealt with. On an excessively complicated and protracted conveyancing matter she has never missed a beat. She has been exceptionally professional, diligent and hard working. To be honest this has been somewhat of a pain due to external issues and she has made it smooth sailing all the way through, keeping me up to date EVERY step of the way. If she is a benchmark of the quality of work to be expected at Stokes Solicitors you are in safe hands and shouldn't hesitate to choose them.

I would highly recommend  Mr Ray Benet at Stokes for conveyancing. He was thorough and kept on the case for us. Lovely man, lovely firm, great experience,  value for money as they were a fair price didn't charge millions like some others, and we are now very happy in our new home.
