Arrived on a Sunday evening for an impromptu dinner. The place wasn’t packed, but quite full. Very good sushi experience overall and an attentive staff. Nothing will blow your mind here, but the menu is quite wide and the execution is great. The sticks were also a nice twist! Not that cheap of a meal, but nice for an occasion!
Highly recommended! This is not your average sushi place which is reflected in the price. Great portions and sharer platter options. All dishes taste really great & fresh. We ordered around 26 pieces of sushi and paid £44 each including drinks and sides. Service is excellent.
I'm pretty sure this was the best decision we made on a whim during our trip! We didn't have a reservation so we got lucky that we even got to do this but I'm so glad we did! Now this is pricey but worth every cent! They offered different platters where you could try lots of different types of sushi and other dishes on the menu. I enjoyed everything I had! I ordered the perfect day and I think it was the best way to try a little of everything on the menu! The flavors were unlike anything I've had before, as well as the whole experience! I would recommend that you get there early because they do close the kitchen and try to make sure you get everything you want. We didn't know so it didn't give us much time to decide. Other than that, A+!!!
My favourite sushi place of all time. I also love sushi samba, but that’s only for a real special occasion very expensive Sticks n’sushi however, is the best place for the price you pay. The sushi is QUALITY. GET THE TRUFFLE SESAME CAULIFLOWER. Most underrated dish, it made me like cauliflower!! I personally don’t bother much with the sticks, but I love the starters. Service is always great. You’re in safe hands here.
Had a perfect experience here. Staff were super friendly, ambience was great massive fan of the dim lighting and food & drink sparkling lemonade is 10/10 was amazing. Came for my wife’s birthday and the complimentary dessert was really nice, flag on our table was a cool touch too. What impressed me was how accommodating the staff was, we requested non alcoholic soy sauce as we are Muslim and there was no fuss made, they ensured us they’d make sure there’s no alcohol in our food at all. We ordered the black cod and our server told us that they didn’t include it in the order as it has alcohol and offered to replace it with an alternative. Very considerate service, would definitely return and recommend to everyone I know!
Perfect spot for quality sushi! They welcome you with a hot hand towel, thoughtful food and drinks menu and pretty decent prices. They are usually busy, better to book in advance. From all the food options, I would suggest mixed emotions for variety and flavour.
Starting with what I disliked the most! Jeeez, it’s so dark in there. I think we were especially “lucky” to sit at the table by the stairs with no light on top of us and with only 1 little lamp on the table making it impossible to read the menu and to properly see the food. whatever food is with great light on the pic - thanks to phone cam. And when we asked for a second lamp to put on the table for a little more light we were told that there are no available lamps. Also one waitress with blond hair was not nice at all. But the others was quite polite and nice and very good. The food as always great. Everything we have tried is absolutely delicious. Have to mention the dessert. That chocolate mousse is like heaven.
Excellent sushi and service. There are lots of options, the staff will guide you if you need help. Plenty of space, with tables for families, couples and even solo travelers. The prices are quite reasonable considering it's sushi and London. It's also conveniently close to Covent Garden.
Went for a business meeting and the quality of the service together with the combinations of tastes in the food selection was actually amazing. Super attentive service. Waiters had great manners and didn’t feel too intrusive. The sushi selection was incredible in terms of quality and attention to detail. The ambience was also pretty good and up to the london standards. Pricey but you pay for what you get. Definitely a good treat if you like sushi and you are looking to make a good impression or treat yourself. Recommended to book in advance.
Amazing food! Service was quite slow but there were a lot of large tables and the venue quickly filled up. We were there for about 2.5 hours. The pre ordered set menu came in 3 stages. The photos here are of the vegetarian menu offered. They also had festive mulled Sake and plenty of other sake available along with alcohol free beers, regular beers etc.
