We arrived at Stein Bier Keller excited to enjoy our membership benefits, only to be denied entry while locals strolled in without a hitch. The request for a £3 fee felt ridiculous. This kind of treatment is unacceptable for paying members.
WOW. This place turned our evening around. It is packed from front to back with people dancing on tables and Ben he's and having the best time.Service: 5/5
Been here for the first time 20/07/24. Had one of the best nights I've ever had. Good choice of drinks in the Stein, the atmosphere was electric dancing on the tables, people were friendly and a lot of fun. So happy to have walked into this place Atmosphere: 5/5
Cameron the bouncer was an amazing bouncer. my friends was suspected of breaking a window, which was false. Cameron detained him and waited until he was told that my friend was not the person that broke the window and then let my friend back in. this happened a few weeks ago. Cameron was amazing with the way he dealt with it. he wasn’t horrible about the situation. he simply dealt with it like a professional bouncer should. Cameron absolutely deserves a promotion or at least a bonus. he is an amazing example of how bouncers should act. now every time i go to beer keller i enjoy seeing Cameron knowing he is a fair and amazing bouncer.
Our experience at Stein Bier Keller was incredibly frustrating. Despite having a one-year membership, we were left waiting while locals were welcomed inside. The staff’s insistence on a £3 fee for entry was disappointing and made us feel unwelcome. They discriminated against us today by refusing us entry to the Beer Keller based solely on the color of our skin. We are not coming again. Poor Service at the reception and the Doorstaff.
Went there for my sons gf 18th birthday the bar staff are very unhappy looking and selectively serve whom they want to, waited over 10 minutes to be served yet other people were coming to the bar and being served beforehand not great customer service at all, especially from the male bartender with glasses and ponytail, if you don’t like what you are doing then get another job. Would have complained to management but couldn’t find any. Wouldn’t recommend if you want a night out with happy bartenders as you wouldn’t get it there, such a shame!
Watered down drinks and a bouncer who was very rude, didn't tell me when I left that I wouldn't be able to come back in despite having a stamp. Frankly appalling customer service, very rude, skinny skin head with a beard. Newcastle was lovely bar this interaction.Food: 1/5
