Expensive place just to be talked to like trash by the staff members and get squashed like a sardine. Fun tip: If the bar is packed to a point where you cant breathe maybe you should stop letting people come in. You guys price your stuff high enough for it to not make a difference to your income. Other than that as stated before the staff were just incredibly rude and dismissive when we had genuine problems and concerns This is coming from someone who used to work in customer service so i understand not being high energy and smiley all the time, the bar is on the floor all people ask for is politeness Its been a while since ive been here but its definitely deteriorated over the years, not gonna be in a hurry to go back soon.
Booked a karaoke booth at the weekend, drinks were ready waiting for us, great service, we had a brilliant time. Left my mobile phone in the booth and the staff have been AMAZING helping get it back to me as I don't live in Newcastle. Can't thank Lisa enough, and will be back for round 2 on the karaoke soon!Food: 5/5
Great Saturday night out. Bouncers were very kind and took care of my mobility scooter without a second thought, made me feel very welcome. Great vibe and fun music. It got crowded as the night went on but it was expected and not a deal breaker for us as that was the vibe we were looking for. Reasonably priced. The worst part was the stairs up to the ladies bathroom which stank of urine. Wheelchair accessibility: Step up into building but then there is flat options along the bar to the a disabled bathroom. Not sure if there is a lift up to the karaoke, if there is it's not obvious.
Very busy city centre bar with a lively and friendly crowd on the evening we visited. The DJ was great and really made for a good atmosphere with his musical selection.Service: 5/5
Myself and my Wife booked a Karaoke booth. Nathan and the team went over and above with there Customer Service. Everytime we visit Newcastle, Cosy Joes is our number 1 spot.Service: 5/5
Absolutely abhorrent treatment from security. A trans individual was disallowed entrance into their preferred toilet, going against the equality act of 2020, and was made to feel so uncomfortable they left. Nobody should be made to feel this way - do betterService: 1/5
Karaoke pod was a fun idea and we had a great time, however no room service like it says online and the air con wasn’t on, otherwise good, per person was £5 for pod and £3.50 for a double at the bar so cheap night
Did not buy food. Everyone, enjoyed night out. Gets very busy about 11pm when normal pubs shut.Food: 5/5
This is a great spot for some late night drinking and dancing. I enjoyed the selection of music being played and did some bad singing and drunken dancing to amuse myself and others.Food: 5/5
The place was too full and very clostrophobic the room that we went into was too dark there was glass on the seat which one of the ladies sat on not knowing it was there. We couldn't tell what the drink were what we purchased £72 later. We booked for 2 hours we only stayed for one the toilets were disgusting.
