Probably one of the worst hand car washes I've ever been too. I've never felt so robbed. I had to ask them to wash areas of dirt off my car that they'd missed. Whilst cleaning, the chap was wiping with one hand and with the other holding his phone speaking in some Far East tong. It got to the point where he had stopped, so I stepped in and volunteered to clean the rest of the interior myself. He handed over his apparatus and I finished the job. So, note to self, either stay at home and do it yourself or find somewhere else.

*to preface this review, I never write reviews unless the experience is very good or exceptionally bad*

To echo Alex's review, I felt quite robbed after visiting this location.

First off, on the topic of being robbed, when pulling up to the wash tent, you get the distinct impression that you're about to be literally robbed of your possessions as you turn into an alley behind the train station and into a run down and rusted chain-link fenced area where a handful of non-uniformed or even halfway professional looking individuals are waiting.

The wash set off as it had at the Five Ways location with the prespray and etc, which put me at ease, until the actual handwash portion began and my car was being scrubbed with a visibly dirty wash solution. I removed my sunglasses to check if maybe the lenses were discoloring it; no, still dirty.  I angled my head for different perspectives and lighting; no, still dirty.  While this is going on, I observed another car being washed by two of the individuals when a third walks out from who knows where, sandwich in hand, and begins washing/cleaning this gentleman's car while holding his sandwich.  I'm not saying I've never had a snack or drink while washing my own car, but away and not in my hand, especially as this is a business.  

There was also half a bottle of Jack Daniels sitting out in plain view where I waited for my car to be "washed" which is next to where the "staff" were sitting.  I'm not at all opposed to having a drink while washing my car but, again, this is a business and doesn't promote a professional environment whatsoever. It did fit well with the overall terrible image this place promoted though.

The aforementioned gentleman did not exit his vehicle while they cleaned the inside, which I viewed to be cumbersome to both him and the workers, but didn't necessarily blame him for given their appearances and insinuation that could be drawn from them.  He must have known something I didn't...or just had the forethought...since one of them ended up taking my car charger and several pounds worth of change from the cupholder (an experience which has never happened with much more valuable items in plain view and larger amounts of bills/coins at the Five Ways). 

Observing this other car being washed and cleaned, as well as my own shortly thereafter, I watched the workers continually wash a spot on the car and then place their bare and dirty hands over the same washed spots and wash another on the car.  Additionally, the manner in which they spray off the car makes no sense as you should wash and spray from the top down as to not introduce dirt and grime from a higher part onto a lower part that's been cleaned.. well, you guessed it, they just scrub and spray with little to no regard for this.  I found several spots around the car after driving two blocks to my next stop that were not cleaned off well and/or still legitimately dirty.

I would give this place zero stars if I could, but I will say that the minimum one star rating is for the interior being done satisfactorily.  There was no noticeable spray or dressing applied to the dash and etc as there is at Five Ways.  Wheels were cleaned decently, but there was a lack of tire dressing as it was barely applied and tires looked dry again later the same day.  

Any attempt to communicate with them was met with blank looks and a gestured washing motion by them as they all spoke broken, if any, English at all.

Bottom line, this place is terrible. I wish I had the facilities at my flat to wash my car myself, but I don't.  I'm not trying to promote them, despite the numerous mentions, but The Five Ways handwash is great (and I'm sure several others around the area are too), despite having to occasionally wait.  Give your money to a branch of this handwash chain or to another business, but do not give it to this one.
