I grew up in an unfortunate situation and being at Starlight has helped me do things I never thought I could do. In less than a year I've made some friends with the people I live with, I have the freedom to go out independently and explore with a 10.30PM curfew and although I need more help with verbalising how I feel the staff are extremely patient with me. It was also my birthday yesterday and they threw a party for me, with food and presents and balloons and cards. I feel loved and appreciated and ignoring my own personal challenges I honestly haven't been much happier elsewhere than I am here.
I would not recommend starlight support services I have lived in one of there semi independent houses in corby and it was horrific they dont engage with there yp they havent supported me going shopping recently and I have been assaulted by one of the staff who work hear and so far no investigation has been done.
