I'm not being unkind, it's just that this kind of coffee shop is not for me. I wanted coffee, not an 'experience'. Cant get over being asked if i wanted milk in an Americano -which by nature is a black coffee. Surely if you put milk in a black coffee it then becomes...you got it....white coffee!
Typical quick Starbucks coffee!
The people behind the counter were not very helpful and looked like they didn't want to be there. There were empty cups and plates on every available service. Customers were taking it upon themselves to tidy up so they can sit down. Next time, I'll go across the road to Marks and Spencer.
For a place referred to on this site as Starbucks, Costa Coffee is usually too busy to enjoy queing for your cup of good enough coffee. Cakes etc are way overpriced across this chain . Recomend supporting infependent operators
Nice coffee. But cakes dont look very advertising.
Lovely staff ever cheerful & friendly. LOVE the Marmite & cheese bun things. Shame about some of the customers especially Yummy Mummies with their shrieking kids that they are happy to allow to run about get under peoples feet. Best come here very early or very late, otherwise ensure you wear headphones or earplugs.
Slow service and very dirty. No tables had been cleared and the floor was full of crumbs. Not good, much more hygienic places to enjoy a coffee.
Starbucks never disappoints. It has since closed and Costa have taken over. We went there yesterday an hour before it was due to close for the day. The staff had already started tucking away the desert.

Went to go for a coffee after shopping but decided against it as it was full of young mums & their screaming babies!! Wanted a quiet coffee but no such luck
