Great place for a walk, hike or ride with many paths to select. Also liked the fact it has disabled accessible routes. Its very quiet and peaceful and if you love bird watching then this is probably a good place to do so. Only downside is there isn't any designated parking place so if you have a car then you're better to park off the road towards the reservoir.
Covering an enormous area it was uncrowded and slightly hilly it has bridle paths and bare earth paths which could be muddy in wet conditions. Great walk up to see long ranging countryside views.
What a peaceful park,we enjoyed each and every moment here, the natural beauty of it's woods and reservoir always memorable.
Great place to take the dogs for a walk. Be warned though a lot of the trails will be quite muddy if it has rained recently. I think they vary in difficulty too. Some being more like an obstacle course ie. very rocky paths with potholes and fallen logs you need to climb over and steap slopes to clamber up or a scenic stroll along the canal. Great for young kids that love exploring & the outdoors
Such a nice walk. See the lake, ponds and resivoir. Lots of different paths to take. Walked through the cow field with no bother at all and petted the horses. Some lovely views.
Really nice walks. Loops around the valley and reservoirs. Didn't do as much as would have liked as had a buggy with us. That said most of pathways are fit for a pram. Totally going back to explore further.
Lovely walk, choice of routes with miles wide paths an option on muddier days, or over dirt tracks when weather better. Beautiful views, not ever too busy like dovestones can be. Lack of bins is my only issue, so occasionally see dog poo bags hanging on bushes, which is a shame.
Absolutely lovely walk from Brushes reservoir over the top up, for the best views turn left just before the house and head up that way, the views on the way back down are spectacular.
Right on the doorstep for me, a great circular 3k stroll, or head right at Walker Wood reservoir and carry through to Tintwistle. A lovely area.
Can witness the sunset beautifully. Nice view along the Walkerwood reservoir.
