Zero stars! Queued for ten mins to pay for a post office product, a plastic postage bag that cost £1.10. No prices on the shelves but eventually found price written on the bag not ideal! When finally at the counter and had phone ready to pay, my son was told “cash only”. I appreciate that some small businesses don’t want to take card payments, but in this day and age many people do not have cash and use cards for everything. The last place I expected to insist on cash only would be the post office! I pointed out to them that they should have clear signs up to indicate cash only and just got shouted out by the other cashier, a woman. We left without the bag because nobody should put up with bad customer service like that- it’s the 21st century and in a establishment like anPost office you expect to be able to use your card- especially when there are no signs to say otherwise. Had there have been a minimum charge of £5 it would have been more understandable and we would probably have just bought several of the bags.nWhen we said we had no cash we were reluctantly told we could use a bank card to withdraw cash and then pay for the bag with the cash, but it was a bank card on our phone - so either you take card payments or you don’t! We left because of the bad attitude and bizarre customer service. It seemed very odd- Clearly they can behave like this because it’s the only post office locally. Such a shame and small minded of them. Having discussed my frustration to friends I discovered I’m not alone, and others go tonWroxham Post Office as they get better polite and more efficient Service.
it seems that the post office doesn't like talking to people. I have an urgent enquire, and I needed to talk with someone but whatever number you call they either don't pick up or they like to direct you to the website. which do help. where a person over the phone would.
I've only been in here twice and each time I was dealt with courteously and the people were happy and jolly, helping me and making the mundane tasks rather enjoyable. They sell lovely cards with a Norfolk theme. Bravo guys, keep up the great work
Always served with kindness and courtesy, always ready to assist in anyway. Thank you !
Went into the Stalham Post Office to deposit a cheque. They have a 2 person at a time rule despite being the only Post Office I have been to that has this. I walked in to be told to leave as there were 2 people in there. One of the customers in there was at least 30 feet away writing out envelopes and was going to be a while. I said can I quickly pay my cheque in. Oh no. Rules are rules I was told. I had to wait outside for 5 minutes.
