I am very impressed by the service at St. Raphael's. All the staff are courteous and professional. The dentist explains everything in detail and if treatment is required informs you of all the options available. On returning to the surgery post Covid the systems in place at the surgery were reassuring and you did not feel at risk.  In the past it was sometimes  difficult to get through to the surgery on the phone but this seems to have been addressed and is no longer a problem.

I received excellent treatment and advice during my dental appointment today with James.  I felt reassured as always, that my dental care was of the highest standard.  He has a warm and friendly manner and has extensive knowledge in Dentistry and oral care, which makes all the difference, when attending for appointment.

So glad to still be a patient after not attending the clinic since before lockdown. Staff are always friendly and welcoming. I always feel I am getting the best treatment and advice.

Even though I absolutely HATE dentists, there is no way I can fault St Raphael's! The receptionists are always lovely and polite and will try their best to help you. Even though it is a practice, I usually see the same dentist and have to say he is amazing! He even manages to put me almost at ease which is some achievement!!. I would definitely recommend this practice, especially if like me, you are dentist phobic.

I would like to thank Clare dental nurse and Lizzy Dentist  for the treatment I received during my recent visit to St Raphael's Dental Practice in Upholland. I am a very nervous patient and dread going to the dentist anytime but after lock down caused a break in regular visits, my anxiety about going to the dentist had increased. I finally made an appointment and wanted to cancel it many times but knew I had to keep the appointment. When I got there I was so nervous but Clare the dental nurse picked up on this straight away and really engaged with me to take my mind of things. She explained what was going on at all times and why Lizzy was doing it. Before I knew it my appointment /  treatment had finished and my anxiety about my dental appointment had gone and it was all thanks to Clare. I would definitely recommend asking for Clare and Lizzy if you or any of your family feel nervous about going to the dentist

My only gripe is I waited almost 2 months for an appointment, however, worth the wait. Communication and customer service excellent.  I was treated with utmost care and dignity. Thank you dental team, you do a marvelous job.

From Mel at reception to Therapist Ella and Nurse Becca I have to give today's visit to St Raphaels 10/10. Coming from a rather nervous patient that's some endorsement. Thank you all so much for your professionalism and kindness today.

Very efficient service when once in the building .However access is very poor. As a mobility scooter user I found access very poor.  The only disabled parking bay is across the road.  Having negotiated this. the surface of the path to the entrance is very rough and uneven and obstructed by a council. bin. Most mobility scooters that are car portable do not have wheels designed to traverse loose chippings.There is much room for improvement in this access.

Can't praise this practice enough. Had a bridge done at the lower front of my mouth, needed it doing ASAP as I'm giving my daughter away at her wedding in Australia in January, I asked my dentist Laythan if he could sort it before January, he said he'd do his best. Today Laythan has finished my treatment and to say I'm made up is an understatement,  I can't praise this lovely man or thank him enough. The crown and bridge is brilliant, he's done a fantastic job and knowing I'm a nervous patient he explained everything that he was doing or about to do to me and completely put me at ease and I never felt a thing. I would strongly recommend Laythan without hesitation, he is the loveliest dentist ever, all the staff at this practice are lovely from Mel the receptionist to the nurses, today was Sam the dental nurse, absolute cracking the lot of them.

Laythan is the best dentist I've ever had, he took so much time and trouble prepping for a crown and bridge for me and today he's fitted it. Absolutely can't praise Laythan enough, he talked me through everything he was going to do and not once did I feel any pain he was fantastic. Words just aren't enough to say how delighted I am with the finish, all the staff here are lovely and friendly from Mel on reception to the dental nurses, Sam was the nurse today assisting Laythan. Thank you all so much especially Laythan as he knew how much I needed this procedure doing in time for my daughters wedding in January. Thanks just doesn't cut it
