It's really trying to attract new people to Thornbury to shop. It's clean, well lit and has plenty if parking near by. A few more units need to be let - could do with a shoe shop maybe.

This shopping mall at Thornbury is showing the effect of having a large shopping mall less than 10 miles away and a large supermarket on it's doorstep. When these two factors combine the effect can be devastating to the once thriving shopping areas of small communities. Several of the shops are closed without any apparent companies wishing to rent them. Having said that the shops that are left are either filling a niche in the market or are good shops. The mall does have a big free car park close to it so it does have that advantage over the shops in a city. Without that car park things would be a lot worse.

Not my sort of place really, Thornbury in general can be a bit snobby. There doesn't seem to be a lot in the way of shops here apart from Gregg's and Aldi! Lots of empty shop units which have closed down recently, and also lots of charity shops (which can be good but don't think it needs so many)

Yep southwest golden i call it " little clifton " but no students. Aldis bit small but eh musnt grumble. Yeah nice area sum gd people round there especially in the garden center

Some great shops catering to a wide range of people. It's a shame so many units are empty. Shop more locally people and your choices will keep improving.
