I have been there with a very bad sore throat. I could not eat for 3 days, I could barely drink anything as my throat was so sore and was hurting so much when trying to swallow water. I have been told verbally after a 2 minutes consult, that I need to take pain killers, drink plenty and have rest. I asked for any antibiotics or something stronger to help me swallow, but I've been told that for the infection that is in my throat they do not prescribe antibiotics. 5 days I could not eat and I just had sips of water. Now I am on stronger antibiotics, as the practitioner at St. Mary's centre did not help me at all. Very rude staff and all they care is to fill the patient survey. I do not recommend.

Having seen three and a half hours waiting times for my grandson previously. My wife and I arrived at 7:15 for a 7:30 opening, receptionist was pleasant and helpful as was the triage nurse. We got to see the medical professional quickly after, who carried out a thorough, professional examination in a very attentive manner. However this person was NOT a doctor (GP) and admitted that there was NO GP available even though one was supposed to be on. What a total waste of a fantastic facility, we were advised to go to QA hospital or the after hours GP service at night. I can assure you that had I waited three and a half hours and had not encountered helpful and pleasant staff this review would have been a whole lot different. Building & Facilities 5* - Staff 5* Management Mad !

Every person has their own experience but mine was not good. I had a football injury in my right knee and it was swollen and couldn’t walk. I had an x-ray (which doesn’t show ligament or tendon damage) and they told me because the fluid levels weren’t off that meant there wasn’t any tear. They wouldn’t refer me to a fracture clinic to get an MRI or get seen. Lucky I live in America and play football as when I got back I had an MRI and found out I tore my ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and meniscus. The orthopaedic surgeon told me I will have complications because of how long I’ve left it and now am facing reconstructive surgery and a year out from playing football. Had I listened to the staff here I would have caused unrepairable Damage. If you can go private I would recommend it.

Good service considering it was a busy Sunday morning. My fractured arm was diagnosed, x-rayed and sorted within 3 hours for free. Thanks to the expert team there. Much appreciated.

Visited the centre on Sunday afternoon. Fortunately it was not particularly busy. From start to finish including waiting for x rays took only 90 minutes. Excellent service and much easier than going to A & E at QA.
