Attend the social supermarket each week. All the staff are friendly apart from the volunteer that offers out the drinks. Every week, he ignores me. He asks the person I am with if he wants a drink and others but never asks me. So very rude
Nice building, friendly staff, lots of activities happening
Lots on offer for a wide genre. Always friendly and helpful staff. Should Churches really be charging for activities though? Seems to be a common theme with churches these days. Is it really inclusive for all?
Nice little Garden and Cafe place in front of the Church. Nice place for a work break.
I really appreciate how much this church has stepped up to offer space and help to the local community. Staff are always friendly when we visit we use their meeting rooms for the charity I volunteer for.
As a regular event coordinator that uses St. Mary's for a social enterprise, they cannot be nicer and more supportive of the sheffield community. Most places wanted to charge us loads and these guys have always charged us what they can afford to, knowing we are not for profit. The food is lovely and reception staff are the nicest in the world! It's just got it's heart in the right place which in this day and age, genuinely is just priceless. Long may it continue to be such a warm welcome here for whoever you are.
As I gaze up at the church tower, I feel blessed. .
I go here to attend meetings with sheffield parent carer forum. So this is not a review of the church. It's a big building with lots of meeting rooms. Rooms tend to have tea and coffee making facilities. Toilets are accessible as there are lifts throughout. The building is wheelchair accessible but I don't know how easy it would be for mobility scooter. There's a little office as soon as you go in and they're very helpful directing you to which room you need to be in. Rooms are clean, carpeted and temperature is always warm in the winter. Great venue to host a meeting or workshop.
The work that goes on not just within the church, but within the wider community is simply amazing. They are a great bunch of people, and their initiative with their timebuilder project is fantastic. Please please please... have a look online, or visit in person. They are so warm and welcoming. Today was the first time in over 20 years since I had been there, so it brought back some mixed emotions, but there are really good people here, who simply want to help others. Thank you.
