Had a scan done at this hospital and would like to say how brilliant the care is. The car park was a great size and plenty of parking. The hospital was easy to navigate and sign posted. I was made to feel welcome from the time I entered the reception until I met the lady who was doing my scan. I was very nervous as I’ve never had one done before, the lady put my right at ease and explained everything. I would definitely recommend treatment here if you can. The hospital is clean, friendly and relaxing.

What a fantastic hospital . I felt so welcomed and i was well looked after , all polite staff and helpful, caring staff . Nothing was to much for any of them . My surgeon Dr Richard Karoo absolutely fantastic and his team  . A clean hospital honestly I was only in for a day surgery  but would of happily stayed there a few days . I barely at ease , at home and so comfortable and relaxed while waiting for my procedure.  Thank you all 100% recommended

Day surgery case under the care of Dr Richard Karoo . I was a bit anxious about the surgery however once I got to the hospital the anxiety melted away I received the best care  by this wonderful team ...all my questions answered all my worries acknowledged thank you St Josephs day surgery unit and a massive thank you to Dr Richard Karoo the nicest kindest surgeon with the most impeccable bedside manner.

What an impressive hospital!   Modern, spotlessly clean infact it looked rather hotel-like! and far superior to private hospitals I have attended in Bristol.   I was visiting for a consultation with Mr Nathdwarawala and from my welcome at the main Reception to the same smiley greeting at the Outpatients reception I was very impressed.   Smartly presented, well informed Reception staff and good clear advice from the Consultant.   Great to see professionalism throughout in a world where currently service is on the decline.

beautiful clean and light hospital. high standards of hygiene and cleanliness. All staff from start to finish were welcoming and professional in  their roles. couldn't ask for more. will be having another procedure soon and hope to attend this hospital again. Also, only a short taxi ride from Newport station or minutes off the M4 so couldn't be easier in terms of travelling/transport

Just had knee replacement by my consultant Mr Alderman.  Absolutely brilliant surgeon and fabulous staff. Lovely food , nice clean en suite rooms. Highly recommended this hospital.

I had surgery yesterday under the care of Dr Karoo. From the minute I walked in to the hospital until the minute I was discharged, I was made to feel very welcome and all the staff were incredibly supportive and reassuring. A special mention for Julie, one of the nurses that was caring for me. She was so lovely and approachable. Nothing was too much trouble for her and she couldn’t do enough to make my stay as comfortable and stress free as possible. Than you everybody at St Joseph’s hospital.

I was sent to St Joseph's for a urgent endoscopy. I suffer with severe anxiety and I can not fault the care I had whilst there. The members of staff were amazing from the moment I walked through their doors, so kind, caring and reassuring and always made sure I knew what was going on. They  helped make a  very difficult time a little easier for me, so thank you so much!!

I was sent there by the heath hospital,  firstly from the moment I entered the hospital it was amazing every member off staff from reception nurses and surgeons treated me like royalty! absolutely spotless  better than some off the six star hotels I've been in . I had surgery on my neck as a day patient.  Would recommend this hospital all day long . Big thankyou to all staff , for my short stay 5 stars ; . very happy patient!

I recently had a colonoscopy at St Joseph’s and I really have to say the standard of care was totally amazing. Every member of the team was kind, efficient and professional. Because I’d declined to be sedated, a lovely lady called Carol held my hand throughout the procedure. It may sound like a small thing but it reassured me completely. Thanks to everyone. Stay safe xx
