My doctors referred me to outpatients to have a blood test done. I went around 8am Wednesday morning, it was very quiet, I waited about 15 minutes. The lady on reception was welcoming and polite. The nurse that did my bloods was Lesley, she was lovely. It was painless and quick. Lots of parking spaces on the grounds to.
DISABLED ACCESS CONCERNSnnTrying to drop my elderly grandmother off with her wheelchair, three security guards controlling the car park and none could point me to any place to drop off. I was then told to pull over and while setting up we were repeatedly told to hurry up but with no help given whatsoever??? Absolutely disgusting! Sort out your disabled access, you’re a hospital????
Needed my hearing aids adjusted or so I thought. Queued for ever to get a parking spot but, here, I must pay tribute to the 2 guys managing the parking on the left of the entrance - cheerful, on-the-ball and helpful with eyes everywhere to ensure that they could get vehicles off the roadway into spaces asap. Once into the hearing clinic I knew I'd have to wait so had brought a book. The audiologist I saw young lady, sorry, didn't get her name was cheerful, friendly and helpful. The problem was with the tubes which, although no-one's mentioned it previously, harden and become less efficient at carrying sound through. New tubes fitted in minutes and my aids are perfect again. I've made a note in my diary 6 months hence to get them checked again. Thank you Royal Gwent - as always.
Admitted 2 weeks ago.Caught COVID there.D 4 west very poor precaution as nurses not wearing masks or catering or cleaning staff or some doctors.i was put in side ward but door left open even though notice on door.Covid now rampant in ward and I was chucked out ASAP
