I have found the administration shocking. I have been trying to resolve a relatively minor issue about unsolicited texts and emails since October but have found it impossible and the loss of trust caused by people not doing what they promise has infuriated me, as has the issue going round in circles and the left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing. There seems no way in which they can deal with a relatively minor issue. All go into an 8 week time frame and if you add further information or questions it seems you go back to the beginning. I have wasted so much effort and no one takes control.nMost recently I got a response to the above from Izzy in German effectively referring me back to the circular administration I had complained about. As they say, you could not make it up.nI am adding this a couple of weeks on.nI'm no further forward.
Recently had an interview for a role at the Cirencester office. The whole experience was really great. The interview itself was really professional, while making me feel at ease which helped calm my nerves. I was contacted and given support by Victoria in recruitment through out the entire process to keep me updated. I was offered the role and I’m very excited to join. The whole process was really excellent and outstanding!
Whilst I am pleased with my advisor, dealing with the broader SJP organisation is frustrating and actually quite disrespectful towards the end client. Via the SJP portal, I have requested very basic investment characteristics for my retirement plan, such as a blended expense ratio and historic return data, for my own independent analysis. SJP do not publish underlying fund factsheets or KIIDs on the portal, so it’s painful to extract this data for yourself. The SJP help desk have refused to provide me with a blended TER or links to the underlying Factsheets, so I can calculate this for myself. My request for return data was ignored. How is a retail client supposed to analyse their portfolio? This manner of engaging with me also makes me feel undervalued as a client and also like SJP are deliberately withholding information and portfolio characteristics that I am legally entitled to see. Why all the secrets?nnI am a CFA chartholder myself, having spent 20 years as a portfolio manager for 2 of the largest asset man CO’s on earth. I answer similar queries for my clients every day. In fact, I publish my KIIDs and Factsheets so my clients can self help/analyse! Sort this out SJP!
Based on one visit from one of their agents, pushy, expensive and he was not much interested in our opinion or understanding of what we wanted. Maybe other agents are more customer minded.
Refused to furlough staff 2020 for fear of upsetting clients. January 2021 announced 140 redundancies. Shocking behaviour.
