As a wheelchair user I found the facilities pretty good. I didn't find the lift great though. It's a wheel in then on the first floor the side door open on your right. It's really snug. I actually got out ok perhaps more luck than judgement, getting in to come down wss tough. The room we used 111 was great. Fantastic screens, good sound.
Good views from all stands a few post in the way, one stand.n20 minutes walk from Moor Street station near enough in a straight line. The bull ring is cross the road from the station.nRetail park next to ground. Greggs, Morrison to name a few.nA safe walk outside as they close the road to traffic.
After spending millions on the home end but not spent a penny on away end. One lift that broke twice. We had to go through home fans to get to away platform.nThe platform wasn't wide enough to pass other fans to get to toilet. The platform was also too short so standing fans blocked 1/4 of the pitch yet home disabled fans had a nice wide platform to sit on.nThe accessibility steward was brilliant but the whole of the other stewards were abysmal. Asked a couple of them questions they just looked at me not understanding English.nThe accessible toilet had no lock as it was broken same as the arm support. I won't be visiting again as this ground away facilities are not fit for purpose and away fans treated like second class citizens.nWhat was most embarrassing was an old man giving abuse to away fans yet nothing was done.
Went to see a friendly against Forest, ticket was £15, reasonable. Nothing special about the ground. Disappointed they had no vegetarian options to eat on the day, real let down. Chocolate bar and tea was £5.
Great improvements to the ground lately but a few things let it down. No water in the toilets to flush or wash hands in sinks. It would also be great to offer drinks and food after full time. Great atmosphere with the fireworks and our lovely fans
