nWe had an amazing evening at the Utilita Arena to see Simply Red — what a fantastic experience from start to finish! Everything about the event was organised brilliantly. Parking was straightforward, entry to the arena was quick and well managed, and every member of staff we met was polite, friendly and helpful. The venue itself was spotless, comfortable and easy to navigate, with great facilities throughout.nnOnce inside, the atmosphere was electric. The lighting, staging and sound were all excellent — clear vocals, great acoustics and just the right volume. Mick Hucknall’s voice was incredible, sounding every bit as good live as on record. The band were flawless, and the mix of classic hits and newer songs kept everyone singing and dancing from start to finish.nnThe crowd was in great spirits and it felt like everyone there was having a brilliant night together. Food and drink stands were easy to access, with reasonable prices and quick service even during the intervals.nnOverall, the whole evening was thoroughly enjoyable and perfectly organised. I’d highly recommend both the Utilita Arena as a live music venue and Simply Red for anyone who loves genuine talent and a fantastic night out!
Massive spacious venue, I've been twice now this year. Very well organised both times although once one of the women's toilets was completely shut. Easy to get in and out and find seats. The seats themselves aren't very comfy and very tight nit... The second time we had some food too which to me didn't seem too overpriced like I would have expected and its was nice!
We saw Jamiroquai in cloudy December not sunny June. The band and JK were fantastic but this venue is not the one.nnSound balancing and acoustics generally were all over the place and I’m sorry but £10 for a pint! Glad to say the “tap out” bar facility was rejected by my bank, probably because they couldn’t believe the prices
I have visited and seen several bands and comedians here the last being Peter Kay 05/12/25.nThe venue is very good, clean and staff are friendly. It is easy to find your way around and is a great venue.nnHOWEVER- if you are a normal size person DO NOT BUY TICKETS IN ROW T.nAgain do not buy tickets in row T, the leg space is about 4 inches less than anywhere else and 90mins is very uncomfortable and could easily ruin your visit.
The concerts are amazing but the venue is not. £9.85 for a pint of cider is shocking. All drinks are very expensive so never tried the food. The toilets had no hand wash and the hand dryers either don't work or work for a second than won't come back on.
