Easy access with transport links from New St train station. Plenty of food and drink outlets in the concourse at eye watering prices. Free water available, bring your bottle.nSeating and atmosphere good. Depends on the match I guess.nOverall great for us watching Hundred.
Wonderful days cricket, weather held - very lucky. But that's the product and one that a seriously hope the ECB realise, that they are very lucky to have! Edgbaston is a fabulous international cricket ground. The recent development has raised the standards no end. We were in the exec terrace. I was here some while ago so have seen change. The terrace is a spectacular view! You really do feel involved in the action as you are so far up but seemingly out into the field. It's a strange sensation at times, but it really is a fabulous view. The food and the drink on offer does need an upgrade to say the least. Luke warm tea and coffee and not so fresh bacon barms. Not particularly cheap, even considering the locaction. The staff were good, friendly and helpful, we were spoken to very nicely throughout the day. Good central location, which is why the ECB continue to appoint Edgbaston, but not just because of the geography I am sure, because it really is a cracking venue. Get it on your Test bucket list and go.
Amazing drone show. Weren't overly keen before we went as seemed a bit if a hassle to get parked etc. Not so we parked easily. All staff we had co tact with were friendly and welcoming. The drone show was just amazing.
A great cricket ground. Everything here is so well organised and the staff are very pleasant and extremely helpful and informative. Bar staff are quick and efficient. Food is on the expensive side, but there's always plenty of choice. Good transport links to Birmingham City Centre.
I had an amazing experience watching the ENG vs IND 2nd Test match on Day 5 6th July. The atmosphere was electric with a passionate and lively crowd, which made the day even more special.nnThe stadium was very well-organized, making it easy to navigate. There were plenty of food and drink options available, catering to different tastes, and all conveniently located near the seating areas. The facilities were clean and easily accessible.nnAnother big plus was the parking – it was close to the venue and well-managed, making arrival and departure smooth.nnOverall, a fantastic day out and a must-visit experience for any cricket fan!
