I've been a regular customer here for 20+ years which says it all really. Brilliant, knowledgeable, passionate staff with the friendliest of vibes no 'Championship Vinyl' snobbery here! Lovely, airy open-plan shop with a superb selection of vinyl, CDs, t-shirts, music-related books and other groovy paraphernalia. If they don't have it, chances are they'll get hold of it for you within reason.
An institution. Excellent stock of new vinyl. Staff are are friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.
This is by far one of my favourite record stores in Dorset. The staff here are friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. They take part in record store day, but get there early, or all the best ones will be gone! They have a great selection, plus vinyl and an extensive mail order catalogue too
Awesome little record shop. Super friendly and knowledgeable staff, and a good selection for the size of the shop, reasonably diverse. Anyi you want, they will try to order it in for you. A hidden gem!
I have been a square records customer since 1986. My first purchase was the Joshua tree by U2 and most of my CD collection came from there during the 1990s. However sadly I have moved on to Spotify. My daughter however has started to collect LP and wanted to visit a real record shop. We went into the shop and spent 30 mins looking at all of the records. There was a good collect of classic albums form the last 50 years all new and all ready to take home. We choose definitely maybe and left. Paul is still serving and as helpful today as he was in the 90s. So once in a while put Spotify down go to Wimborne and choose a CD or LP for your collection. James.
Brilliant independent record and cd shop in heart of Wimborne now with a massive selection of vinyl all very reasonably priced . Staff are always welcoming and very knowledgeable. If they haven't got what you're looking for they are only to happy to order it in and it's delivered quickly. Tickets for most local music events can be purchased from here from piano recitals to full blown festivals. Parking close by can be a bit of a problem but there are disabled parking and a few others just around the corner on the one way system into town or a little further on in the minster car park. NOW MOVED 200 YARDS TO NEW PREMISES. ...parking still a bit of a problem.
Loads of vinyl, could have spent many monies in that shop. Having spent lots of time in the old shop nice to eventually spend time staring at vinyl!
Popped in on RSD. Great little shop. Had a good selection of all music tastes. And I didn't have to queue overnight!
