Good fun this used to sit out in the humber with people manning the spurn light house
Gorgeous piece of design with a really awesome historical background and story. Be aware it’s very rarely open these days so do your research for open times and dates. It takes about 10 minutes to walk the whole ship and it’s over pretty quick but it’s not your normal museum experience.
Due to the current works ongoing to nstall the new pedestrian bridge, the light ship has temporarily been moved. It will be rehomed with the Artic Corsair for summer I believe
Really nice to see it in such good condition but needs a big sign up to say you can actually go on it.

The lightship looks fantastic when it's all lit up at night. Such a good thing to have in the city!
Great staff, not a lot stuff to sea but always a good look around.
A free to enter light ship. Very interesting, but you need to be pretty able-bodied to get on and go below decks.
Nice to visit, but catching it when it is open is difficult. Council cutbacks I guess?
