Great location. Roomy room. Clean and pleasant. Excellent mattress. I'm near insomniac but slept well. Real coffee quite good. If you don't like hotels with staff everywhere bothering you then this is the place for you. You may see no one bar the housekeeper as you depart.Rooms: 4/5
Absolutely loved our stay ! The main good points were both the location of the hotel itself and the staff To summarise we initially stayed in the stratford limes hotel and were offered to move to warwick due to unforseen circumstances, we politely refused as it wasn't going to work for us at all so we came to an arrangement with the manager Emma who let us to stay here The location is absolutely perfect it's in the heart of Broadway and the café below is perfect for breakfast, it's also really tasty! You walk outside the building and you're in the heart of a wonderful show village with lots of quiant shops The staff I can honestly say the staff here and at the previous hotel made our stay amazing they went above and beyond for us in particular I'd like to say that Emma was extremely attentive and helpful and gave us wonderful advice too I'm looking forward to my next trip here some day as the room was amazing and the experience overall was also amazing Walkability: It's in the heart of the village centre Food & drinks: We had lots of food and drink here and loved them all, there's good food everywhere here and it's reasonably priced too Noteworthy details: Cannot say enough about how good the staff were they were bubbly while professional and also helped at every moment, nothing was too much trouble
Nice room. No staff to check us in. Had to look through the window if find number to call someone. WiFi didn't work in the room.Rooms: 4/5
Comfortable lodging, excellent location, free parking. I loved waking up this morning in this bright room. Plenty of shades don't worry. The bed was comfortable the shower was powerful. Breakfast can be had at the cafe outside the door. Last night we walked across the street to the best tapas I've ever had. I really enjoyed this stay in the heart of Broadway.
Pros: Lovely, clean , well decorated rooms reasonably priced 155 a night for two for Broadway ; right in the center of high street; free parking guaranteed. Cons: rooms are a little too warm; fans from the Lygon Arms Hotel swimming pool next door on till 1.30am and start again at 5.30am.
We stayed in the Fox double room at the cost of £145 for the night and for that price I expected it to be spotless, but there were some dead flies on the bathroom windowsill along with a mildew shower mat and a broken venetian blind. The blind in the bedroom wouldn't stay 'up' as there was nowhere to tie the cord, just 2 holes where the hook should be! The blinds were also dirty! We were told there would be complementary toiletries and there was none! We left feeling very disappointed!
Great place to stay. Simple check-in. Parking useful in Broadway and good rooms. Will stay again for sure. Thanks for the great stay.Rooms: 5/5
We reserved a room and paid in advance. I came down with Covid before we were supposed to go to Broadway and was quite sick. It wasn't safe to travel - both for me and so as not to infect others. When I called about 30 hours before check-in to cancel our reservation, they told me I couldn't get a refund because it was less than 48 hours. When I explained that I had come down with Covid and was quite sick, they said that these days people do everything with Covid. The woman who answered the phone said she had continued to work when she had Covid. It was not very understanding of our medical situation, and also it was not very safe or reassuring to hear her proudly say how she had kept working at the Lodge when she had Covid.
Stayed for a night. Nice room & bathroom but surprisingly the room was cold, with draughty windows. In addition the heating was minimal & the hot water ran out!! Unfortunately the reception area was empty after 5.30pm lack of staff, therefore no one to complain to. Additionally, there was no mirror in the bedroom for anyone to do their makeup And the mirror in the bathroom was small with poor lighting. Obviously a room designed by a man!!
Had a lovely stay at this property!! But an apology would have been greatly accepted as we were accused of not paying our £250 deposit customer service was non existent !! Just beware of booking through booking.com !! The cleaning lady was so lovely though she should have been running the place !!Rooms: 5/5
