Off injured for 3 weeks. First 2 weeks they cant pay as its an “excess period”? Whatever that means So for 1 week of insurance cover they paid me a grand total of £21. My doctors note that they requested for proof of my injury was £40. I ended up actually losing money due to my insurance. Terrible

Prompt attention when renewal comes round also if any time claim form requested.

My football team uses sportsguard. I was off 7 weeks woth a meniscus injury. They don't pay you for your first 2 weeks off as it's classed as an excess period... they paid me £50 a week so came to £221. For being signed off work and being on SSP. This policy is a joke. Pretty pointless really as they don't help at all. Yeah 221 is something buy doesn't help with mortage, council tax, vehicles/insurance, energy bills prices are sky high, food, phone bill and so on.  The company take a fortune off football teams to not even help when people are in need.  Disappointed and would not recommend
