I bought a pair of Karrimor walking sandles approximately 4 months ago from Sports Direct.nA small area of stitching has worked loose on the front upper section, I contacted Sports Direct for a warranty claim who arranged an inspection.nI sent them off to be inspected, the response was that it wasn't a manufacturing fault but somehow I was responsible. There is no visible damage to the area at all, no scuffs that could have potentially damaged the stitching. I was advised to get an independent inspection so I contacted Karrimor directly who lo and behold are owned by the same group, I got the exact same response.nThe whole experience from product to customer service has been diabolical.
I have ordered an X-Large size trousers for my husband. It came with X-Large label on but the actual trousers are way too small for correct size! I am in Medium size and I fit it! How can it is X-Large? I have attached the picture of my husband old trousers grey one which are same brand, real size X large so they can see that the item they sent to me is too small and too short! It can’t be right size! But after 3 days waiting and a lot of emailing, they said “sorry we can’t do anything as the size label is correct” so I have to pay for postage to sending the wrong item and now when I want to return it I have to pay again for return postage! Just a very shitty company!
As a lorry driver this was one of the best places to go to as you was allowed to use the canteen best work canteen ive come across in 15 years of driving get a coffee and food. It seems even sports direct must be struggling now as this as stopped. Making us wait in our truck for hours. Was litterally one of the last good places to get sent to. Shame
Bought grandsons a pair of tainers from medowhall got home to find they was a odd pair in the box . Went to shirebrook to return with receipt as its my closest store only was willing to swap for a pair wat grandson liked only to find they only gad 1 of those shoes in stock not the pair so went to desk for refund only to be told by a arrogant girl who would not give me a refund or give her name so i could complain and neither would fetch jack the manager who i ask to see to resolve the issue as he also said i afto go back to sheffield to return the odd items for a refund
Very poor online experience. I wouldn’t recommend this retailer for online shopping. I’ll continue to use in store but their delivery arm seems to be a shambles. I received just 4 of the 6 items that I ordered a month ago and I’m still waiting for this to be resolved. I’ve had to go in store to resolve and chase them by email to find the items were lost in transit- no communication from them prior to this. I will update the one star if it’s resolved effectively but at the moment this is unacceptable.
