Good selection of sportswear, pity the staff couldn't be bothered to offer any assistance. Was there with my wife today. Took nearly 15 mins to locate a staff member, asked her If I could have the match to the trainers we were interested in. Her response was to contact another staff member on her two way radio who said she was too busy to help. The girl I was speaking to then said she didn't work in shoes and I'd have to wait. She then proceeded to the cash desk where she was joined by another staff member and both of them leaned against the desk and had a right old natter. After waiting a further 15 mins I gave up and left. Atrocious customer service which incidentally lost you a sale worth over £400. Neither I or any member of my family will ever be back in your store.
outrageous!! , me and a few of my friends ran up stairs today. turns out that’s illegal in the world of mr no jawlines world, he said “no chance no chance no chance after running up those stairs” turns out we were barley running and my friend just tripped and hurt her knee. my friend said “bro thought he ate” turns out she was correct because he indeed didn’t eat anything except some chicken pie. 1 star… HORRIBLE walked out in absolute disgust and sadness as we walked away with our saddened head down.
Store has recently changed its policy that it won't accept returns for faulty items that were delivered, when you do go to the website it then asks you to pay Sports Direct £5 to return the damaged item. The company does everything to prevent you from using your consumer rights and tries every tactic to dissuade you from returning poor quality products. In short once they got your money they don't want to know.
If I could have left 0 stars I would have!! My husband bought his elderly mother a pair of shoes last Friday for her birthday, I asked myself for a size 4 in the shoes he had picked out for his mother, when she came up on the Saturday the shoes didn't fit....as it was a size bigger! This also is not the first time this has happened, it happened to myself previous weeks before hand where they gave the wrong size even after being told the correct size. My husband came back in today to change the shoes with the receipt, there was a manger in his mid 30s bald who proceeded to state that the all white runners with pink underneath was worn even tho the shoe was incorrect size for her foot to be wearing in the first place, my husband asked for the correct size and the manger was refusing for 40 mins approximately that they were worn outside. My husband had no choice but to threaten to ring PSNi to resolve the matter in order for this ignorant manager to change a pair of shoes for an elderly women. I'm shocked by how my husband and his mother was treated in this shop!!!!!!! YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED!!!!!! You told an elderly women to get out and that you weren't changing her shoes!!!!!
Needed new trainers for my son. Staff on the floor ever so helpful and polite. Fantastic selection of shoes, clothing and sports equipment. Checkout staff efficient and friendly also. Great store to have in our town.
