Great menu. Lots and lots of healthy options including salads, cooked meats, jacket potatoes, delicious soups and cakes. Busy over the lunch period but service is quite fast. Staff friendly.
Well, I came here for a nice afternoon meal and may I say the mayo sandwiches were splendid. Very Mayoey and the slightly stale bread added texture. However what I may say is the staff were fantastic in getting the job done. You see, I'm a simple man. I like mayo. Just a bit ah mayonnaise on my sandwich, ya know, a dollop or two. Now when I asked em for a mayo sandwich, they complied and It was wonderful to not be judged for once. You see, the 'spoilt for choice' gang, never fail to impress the customer. You can ask em for anything and they'll give it to ya. Reliable. People. Simple as. I've recently decided to chip in to help the small business by twerking my fat batty bum outside the shop to lure in hungry customers, the owner even joined in believe it or not. Another example is when I went in the shop and request a bean and toenail soup to go, and they got fresh toenails from the old lady in the back to provide. And it certainly added a nice kick to the bean so wasup to go. Would 100% recommend. All mayo is homemade so go down their and get some goodness. Btw, try the chef's special cheesy beans and onions on brow bread
Sandwiches, soups, salads, some hot meals daily specials made freshly to order. Good bread selection and fresh salads. They even make banana butties and tinned salmon butties with extra vinegar and salad cream although my favourite is still the Salami and smoked cheese with onion relish and the Stilton and walnut on a long brown roll.
Bought chicken garlic mayo sandwich. Whilst the salad was ok, the chicken had the taste and texture of an old rooster. Very poor.
Fantastic food & very friendly staff I recommend everyone go and try .soups . sandwiches cakes.& many more items .

Please please use gloves!!! I felt sick watching my sandwich getting made and not one person had a to be of them. Bare hands digging in the salad bowls then handing meat bare hands. Don't go in again now
This place does the best sandwiches in Liverpool! And the staff are really nice, friendly and helpful.
