Breakfast buffet is excellent and great value for money. A good selection of items and bread for toast. Staff are friendly and the place is clean. You can hire out rooms for meetings or parties and there's plenty of free parking.

Normally quite a decent pub with nice food but went there recently for the "unlimited" breakfast which was anything but unlimited, I wouldn't have minded so much waiting for the chefs to come out with food if the pub was actually busy but there must have been a maximum of 20/25 people in the pub. Apart from the issues of waiting for the food there was also an issue with the hygiene standards of the kitchen preparing the food the lady who was bringing food out didn't even have her hair tied up or wasn't wearing a hair net when I asked one if the other chefs why this was he replied "we don't have any and we don't have to wear them" which is obviously wrong! As I said normally a really good pub with really nice food but the last visit was absolutely shocking

Booked here for a family party. Paid over £600 for a buffet that looked as though it cost £60 to make. The place itself is very nice but I could see why there were no general customers at 10pm if the prices are the same format for regular meals. Staff were very nice

Disappointed with the carvery. Potatoes and veg looked tired and I fancy the potatoes were Sunday's (yesterday) left overs - reheated. Tasted stale. Meat was nice enough. No John Smith's available! Expected better for the money paid.

Brought Groupon deal for main course and drink for two. I was so disappointed with my burger, the meat is cheap and nasty I took one bite and told my partner to try it and he agreed with me how bad it was, would not advise everyone to order one and stick to the fresh pizza only as that was only nice thing on the menu, chips where nothing special neither! I never complain but I felt I had to say something on this occasion.
