Welcome to the Spin A Yarn facebook page! We are a specialist yarn shop in the picturesque town of Bovey Tracey, Devon, offering locally produced organic wool & fleece, as well as exciting yarns from around the world. We are continually expanding our stock of unusual yarns to give knitters in the South West and beyond the opportunity to touch and try a range of yarns normally only available on the net.

Spin A Yarn is a friendly place to meet up with fellow knit enthusiasts over a cup of coffee, sit with your knitting & chat. We host lots of classes in everything from beginners knitting to professional finishing of knitted garments, as well as crochet, spinning, felting & basket-weaving.

Yarns stocked include: Adriafil, King Cole, Lang Yarns, Malabrigo, Noro Yarns, Opal Sock Yarn, Rowan, Schoppell (Zauberball), Sirdar, Sublime, Touch Yarns New Zealand, West Yorkshire Spinners, Wool & the Gang.

A wide range of patterns and pattern books are stocked from many of the above brands, particularly Rowan, Sirdar and West Yorkshire Spinners.

Needles from Knitpro and Pony, Clover and Pony crochet hooks, plus assorted other craft accessories such as needlefelting supplies.
