If you're serious about installing a new kitchen then don't commit to anything before you've visited Spillers. It'll be worth the trip even from hundreds of miles away - prepared to be wowed! OK,so now you're wondering if I have any connection to the family business or if I've been offered a huge discount to ladle on the praise so thickly. I'm afraid you'll have to take my word for it: it's a 'No!' on both counts. The mind-boggling array of kitchen cabinetry, appliances, and accessories can be overwhelming. It would be a promise too far to claim that a visit to Chard will disperse all the fog of confusion, but it will certainly help! There's really no substitute for seeing things 'in the flesh', but the Spillers' experience is further enhanced by having everything working, so go and have a play. The visual appeal counts only for so much, of course, and risks being undermined if the folk at Spillers didn't know their products. I cannot praise Sally Johnson too highly in this regard. She spent more than two hours answering our questions carefully when we visited on 21 April, and went on to offer further advice once she'd got a feel for the sort of things we were after. The other members of the team we spoke with were similarly well informed, professional, and friendly. There was no 'hard sell' evident, so you won't feel pressured. Just one cautionary note, and that's to do with the time you visit. Try to avoid mealtimes if you can - they cook on site and it would seem many of the Spillers staff are talented chefs, too - the tantalising aromas wafting around the showroom can be a bit of a distraction!

I bought my AGA new from Spillers in 2000. The AGA is going strong. I'd recommend them for servicing, fault repair. They have an impressive showroom with full range of AGAs, Everhots, Miele and other top brands of cookers and ovens. So if you are looking to buy a new cooker, or a new kitchen I recommend going to have a look. I also recommend Spillers to the customers of my company.

We both came in, very excited about buying an Aga. We have loved our solid fuel range and so budgeted for a swanky cooker and even asked the architect to built it into the plans. I am delighted to say that the uninspiring, dismissive and dull staff have saved me £20,000. Thank you Spillers!

Spillers saved my kitchen renovation & my sanity when Aga misplaced my Falcon range. Nigel the sales manager kindly offered their showroom model on loan so that the kitchen fit could go ahead as planned. Nigel loaded and drove the range to me, unloaded and even assisted with extractor hood fit. Such customer service is very rare these days!

Shambolic, sadly. Aga removed five days before installation of replacement. Information mostly wrong or late or not forthcoming. Twenty four hours before removal we were told that we would have to arrange for the disconnection of the oil. On the plus side, the two men who took the old Aga away were excellent: tidy, efficient and careful.
