Story

Dillington House dates from Elizabethan times, and is one of the finest and most beautiful houses in Somerset.

The mellow Hamstone house and immaculate gardens nestle in a stunning parkland setting at the heart of the Dillington Estate. With enchanting views from every aspect, Dillington offers a wonderful array of photographic opportunities.

We are licensed for civil ceremonies in our romantic Orangery, elegant Hanning Room and in our Theatre in the magnificent Mews building.

Exclusively yours with a choice of elegant reception rooms, Dillington offers that real Country House Party experience. With lots of gorgeous bedrooms to choose from, we can sleep 78 of your guests and we will treat them to a fabulous full English breakfast the next morning, a great opportunity to talk through what went on the night before!

For your wedding breakfast, let our chefs serve you the finest West Country produce, locally sourced and seasonal, where possible, and enjoy choosing from our personally selected wine list.

We came here for a family wedding. Such a beautiful old house with lovely grounds. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a room in the new Hyde building. The room itself was large, there was a door that opened out onto a decked area which was small but nice to stand out on. The bathroom was a wet room and was quite big. The room & wet room were clean and tidy. There was plenty of tea & coffee and 2 packs of biscuits. There was a panel in the door to the decked area that could be opened to let air into the room. At breakfast there was a good selection of cereals and plenty to choose from the cooked breakfast. Thank you to all the staff for making our stay so pleasant.

This not a hotel, it is an education centre. Courses, Lectures and Concerts. I hope this helps.

Came here for a conference. Estate was clean. Staff were very friendly and buffet was spot on. The main house was very old with information boards explaining the uses of each of the buildings. Overall pleasant experience, thank you.
