We've been ordering our occasional lazy night treat from spicy bites for 10 years now.nnWe've never had a bad meal from here. Good burgers, great chicken kebabs and delicious curries.nnRecommended!
Top place and lovely fresh food. We travelled from Huddersfield, Taz and the staff looked after us really well. Would highly recommend the donner and chips platter it's enough for 2 people and soo tasty. 10/10 food
Ordered twice never again. Incomplete order and they were rude on the phone when trying to correct. Plenty of better local take aways I will be spending my money in in the future
Lovely tasty food. Phoned through order and they were very accommodating and helpful to my vegan meal, I had 100% trust that it would be vegan as they had good knowledge. Chicken tikka masala, burger, mushroom Dhansak vegan, all very tasty. Good chips and plain rice. Even the poppadoms were first class. 2nd time of ordering and equally good!
So that was disappointing, spent nearly £40 for everything to go in the bin.nThe garlic and coriander rice was full of random vegetables and a load of oil.nThe chicken in the butter chicken was really bad quality and had strange hard bits in it.nThe Jalfrezi was so filled with oil and literally just tasted like chilli no flavor.nThe Onion bargies were dry and cold.nThe Popadoms were stale and the dips were so unbelievably basic.... Just an all round horrible experience.nI asked for the chips crispy, i'm not sure if they were even cooked they were that soggy, I called up to ask about them being crispy and the guy said it's because we were late collecting although we were 5 minutes early. He also said that you can never get chips crispy, for a takeaway to not be able to get chips right, how embarrassing.nI will not be going here ever again, the amount of oil on everything was laughable, I have never seen anything like it in my life. There wasn't even a refund offered.nnI always had good experiences with the food here and always recommended them to others, obviously from this experience I will not be going back.
