I went there with a friend yesterday. We have planned to visit sky garden musical and wanted to have dinner before go there. The food was absolutely rubbish. There is no taste and I wonder they took it from freezer and heat it. This place is a waste of money and I feel sick after having there food. I will not recommend this place.
Have just eaten here with my work colleague. Food was disgusting - very chewy chicken and it was practically floating in oil. When discussed with the Manager/Bouncer or whoever he was, he practically accused us of lying and threatened us that we would not be able to leave unless we paid. To top it off, as we left, he threatened us again. Unless you are desperate for an indian meal, I would avoid this place like the plague. There are a lot better indian restaurants where the food is good and so is the customer experience. Absolutely disgusting place.
Lovely food & great service. As always, the food was lovely, the service was friendly and efficient. Really good valueplacedFood: 5/5
I was recently on a trip to London with my husband and son and stumbled on this restaurant. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and attentive and it was very affordable. The portion sizes were perfect and great flavour in the food. While there wasn't a children's menu my son was given a child's portion and the price was adjusted to reflect this. Would highly recommend it.
The staff was extremely rude and condescending towards my son. The servers are a bunch of old men offering advice no one asked for. As an Indian I can say there are other restaurants offering better Indian food in a nicer setting than this dingy basement hole. Kid-friendliness: Rude and condescending servers Wheelchair accessibility: In the basement with narrow and steep stairs
Terrific Indian food, absolutely delicious. The staff is wonderful and friendly. The only thing, I'd ask for next time, is less oil in the dishes.
Took a train and walked in the cold with a baby to come here all the way only to find out these guys are closed on sat & sun but have not updated their opening times online or in google. So they deserve this single star. Obviously nobody picked up the phone.
I was here on 9-Jun-2023 evening. This is right in front of the skygarden. I dinerd here alone as I was really hungry and that was the nearest and on the way. People might confuse this to be closed as the next door to this is closed almost all the time. The restaurant is in the below ground level. The atmosphere is pretty good, the food was bland, even after asking it to make spicy. Based on the suggestion from the waiter, I ordered something as the staff said it would be spicy or tasty for an Indian. Everything was bland, no spice, for gods sake no salt. The management did not have respect to any of the indians sitting in the restaurant for sure. They were cheking in on the people who were not indians on the food, ambiance, water, beer and anything that would not need to be checked in upon. I was left alone after the food was delivered and was given a bill.
This restaurant was AMAZING. From the customer service to the food. They are extremely hospitable and served the plates quickly and very well plated. The bathroom is also extremely clean. The quality of the food was exceptional. The best Indian restaurant I have ever been to. Don’t listen to the rest of these reviews please. I am an Indian myself so I know how good Indian food tastes and this is proper authentic. The prices are also extremely good for the quality and quantity of food. All around amazing
Wow what an underrated spot ! This is Indian food but at a much lighter level if that’s the kind of Indian food you’re looking for. It’s like eating homemade fresh Indian cuisine and the prices are pretty good considering its location. Definitely try the butter chicken and dhal. Service was fantastic ! Very kind and attentive even when they were busy
