Modern Indian Brasserie in City of London

Story

In a fresh and modern setting, Bangalore serves a contemporary reinvention of classic Indian cuisine.

The menu is innovative, informal and flexible; whether you’re part of a large group or just enjoying your own company, there will be something to suit. Why not try the lamb meatballs in tempered mint yoghurt, or chicken tikka supreme marinated in sweet red chillies and roasted in the tandoor?

All the dishes at Bangalore are aesthetically stunning and, needless to say, delicious. Prices are very reasonable, the service faultless and the facilities fantastic.

The ambience is laidback and friendly. The decor is cosmopolitan and dining room creates a relaxed ambience, and jazzy geometric patterns adorn the walls.

The service was attentive without being intrusive—and the staff had a genuine knowledge of the menu, offering helpful suggestions without being pushy. Now, onto the food. Every dish felt like a masterpiece, carefully crafted with fresh, seasonal ingredients. I started with a stunningly delicate chicken with pistachio, beautifully plated and bursting with flavors that felt like a work of art. My partner opted for a slow-cooked lamb shoulder, which was easily the best he tasted in a long time. The meat was tender, perfectly seasoned, and paired with roasted vegetables that were just as impressive. Rice and bread were equally delicious. In a city known for its culinary diversity, this meal stands out as a true gem. Whether you're a local or just visiting, this restaurant should be at the top of your list. It was, without a doubt, the best meal I’ve had in London, and I can’t wait to return.
First time in Bangalore restaurant in London. The food was authentic and the thali looks amazing and variety of selections/options to eat. Veg and non vegetarian. Fast service Affordable restaurant Big portions Recommend for South Indian food
Superb place in London that i have been to. The food is really delicious and i loved it soo much.. I ordered thaali and it is more than sufficient for one person. The quantity is good. Also i ordered paneer tikka with corn , lachcha paratha , bhindi , shahi paneer. Mango lassi was also amazing.
Would 100% recommend this little restaurant to anyone looking for Indian food. This place has a little bit of every area in India- South Indian, North India, and Bengali. We were fortunate to have dosas here as well. Both the manager and our waitress Jezebel were incredibly kind and super thoughtful during our visit. I couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough. I give 5 stars only to restaurants that have great food and great customer service and fortunately, this place has it both. Make a stop while you’re here in London!
Food was amazing, the portions were perfect. The quality of food at its best, and doesn’t make you feel heavy. Ambience is very good and recommended for the family/friend gatherings. Service was quick, staffs were polite and friendly. It’s recommended to reserve a table for dinner. Vegetable moms tasted very nice and Rasmali was amazing, also upon request we were served with gulag jamun without ice cream and it was like heaven. Worth every penny
Had one of the best Tatte Idli outside India , was soft and tasty , but Sambar literally stole the show , it was way too amazing and tasty. had their veg Manchurian , it could have been better taste wise , overall a good experience and would visit againFood: 4/5
Fantastic food and Fantastic staff. Great service. Food is quite authentic. The menu has great variety and is in a great location if you are in the district and looking for a great authentic Udipi cuisine. In terms of ambience, the layout is great but it can get quite noisy between 1-3 pm. Vegetarian options: Good vegetarian options. Authentic Karnataka cuisines
Amazing food and service. Flevin was our server and he did a fantastic job. He was able to explain the options available and made us comfortable from the get go. The food taste was excellent and sumptuous. Highly recommend. Lastly, the cup of madras coffee served with biscuits made my day. Vegetarian options: Amazing. Kid-friendliness: My daughter7 super enjoyed the place.
