Well run ,friendly business,serves great food and licensed for drinks. Good clean interior ,fish tanks, plenty of seating, multimedia and smaller outdoor space. Popular friendly atmosphere,attentive staff. I have been to the Spice Rack and met a great group of local people, really appreciate their company and also the staff are very different than I thought, but shouldn't judge a book by its cover! It's wheelchair accessible,or even for myself wobbling with a walking stick. Children happy, family groups,DJ music later, lively fun. Respect shown,and given in equal measure.Great varied menu, I think that the more I visit the more I really see and learn. Photos show the lounge when quiet, but the fish tanks, I watch as well as locals,are beautiful and very well kept,locals know the individual fish as characters and I watch them equally as the TV monitors. The lady holding their rope posts was dancing,she grew up in Rhodesia (Zimbabwe) and had heard President Mugabe had resigned! Whilst someone else was more reserved with the memories of Ian Smith.

Always love this place.... Great food, good music. Definitely worth a visit specially in a group

I am from the hotel industry and used to run a fine dine restaurant in india and my opinion is that this place used to be good once upon a time but now it's just a very average pub. The restaurant is not used to keeping their word. We had made a group booking and on the day of arrival nothing was as promised. The owners excuse was that it was mothers day blah blah... Does my money have any less value on mothers day!!! The service was shabby and food average. The agreed menu had suddenly changed without our knowledge, food meant for kids was not in stock and so we had to order fries for children for which we had to pay seperately. This place has been open for many years so they should know better but seems that the owners have developed the attitude that their place is infallible and the best in town. I hope they wake up one day from this slumber before it's too late from them.

Great Indian Restaurant which is also a pub/sports bar.... Indian food was excellent and staff very friendly and helpful. Another must visit in Stanmore.
