We live locally and have ordered from Spice Out quite a few times. Service has always been good and ready when they said it would be but most importantly we really like the food. We're vegetarian so can't comment on the meat dishes but we really don't like curry that is swimming in oil and their dishes have always been nicely balanced in terms of flavour and richness. Dhals are authentic and vegetarian options are great value.
Back up to their high standard after a couple of ropey years. I used to order regularly from these guys, but a couple of years ago the standard just started slipping with delivery taking over an hour, items cold, not great or missing when they arrived so I've given them a miss for the past 6 months. Really fancied a dhaka today though so thought I'd have another go and I'm very impressed. Website is easier to use, deliver was way less than an hour with friendly driver and food hot and delicious. Happy to be able to have my favourites back
I've been using Spice Out for 10 years and can only sing its praises. The other reviewers here must have caught them on a rare 'off day' I always collect so I can't comment on delivery services. But the staff in the restaurant are unfailingly polite, helpful and generous. The food is always of the highest quality, and outstanding value.
I may be slightly partial to this retaurant; but anyway: Brilliant place. I've ordered from here for years. The food is very good. I'm not an expert on food but all I can offer is my opinion - very nice food. Delivery time - always spot on in my experience. The service has always been amazing to me at least; They are very nice. Very professional, yet approachable and friendly. The staff have always been extremely helpful to me; engaging in conversation & making for a very pleasent experience. I actually enjoy waiting for my food at Spice Out. Brilliant, in my experience.
Food is very very good, specially Biriany is very good. I recommend people should try their food at least once. I understand sometime delivery is late because every Indian restaurant are busy in weekend. So my recommendation is 100%. Thanks Chef
Been here for years, Nicest indian in bristol- tried and tested many but this never fails to come on top. Great value and lovely staff. Real family aspect to the company. Recommend highly!
In my opinion this is the best Indian takeaway in Bristol, it always comes perfect with everything we have ordered and never once had a complaint about the food and the price is very competitive too with 20% discount on a lot of orders
Tried as a gamble whilst visiting from Essex but absolutely not disapointed!! One of the best ive had for a long time, Passanda was spot on and spice where spice was due. 100% recommend.
Ordered a curry for the family. When it arrived, found that they hadn't included the kids' curries. Phoned them up and they said they'd be 15 minutes. 45 minutes later it finally arrived. The curry wasn't that great either - a bit wet and sloppy. Avoid.
Terrible service. Two hours late, no apology, no idea when the food will come. There are too many other good places in this area to ever choose this one again.
