Not consistent sometimes good food but ordered a chicken and a special chow mein on Saturday, there were a few pieces of what seemed like shredded chicken in the chicken one and not much meat in the special usually three large prawns but only one this week. Very disappointed won't be ordering again.

Not impressed tonight. Ordered at 6:30 for 7:45 delivery. Turned up at nearly 10 past 8 clap cold curry sauce one big lump.. heated up and tasted awful gone in the bin waste of £20

Absolutely terrible,  used to be good but just latley waiting over 2 hours for delivery when I live 5 mins away from them. Food has gone seriously down hill will be trying a different Chinese from now on. Terrible you'd think the food was actually coming from China takes that long and to top it of it was cold on arrival so needed warming up. Shocking service.

Absolute shambles: waited 2 hours for delivery, order was wrong they sent us boiled beef instead of rice and sent some jumped up little goon to deliver it. ‘we will do you deal on your next order’ I won’t be ordering again will I! Obscene

My partner and I ordered a takeaway from Taste of China, via Hungry House.

After we had placed the order, my partner received a text from a mobile number asking him to call the number and that the sender didn't have any credit. We presumed it to be a spam text, because the sender didn't identify themselves, and it would be highly unprofessional to receive a text like that from a takeaway. My partner then went on to receive silent phone calls from the number, which was concerning to both of us.

When the takeaway was late, we phoned the restaurant. They advised that the delivery driver had attempted the delivery and was unsuccessful. That's when we realised that the strange text messages and the silent calls were in fact the delivery driver. The restaurant then advised that they would ask him to re-deliver.

My partner then received a phone call from the driver, shouting at my partner to say that he should have responded to the text about having no credit. My partner explained that he thought it was a spam message, and the delivery driver continued to shout over the phone at him. In the end, my partner told the driver that he wouldn't be spoken to like that, and requested a refund.

I highly recommend avoiding this takeaway unless you rate highly unprofessional, and aggressive "service".
