I asked the restaurant "why can't I find a hot madras? They're all tasteless." Spice Cottage promised me a REAL Madras. Best Curry I've tasted in months if not years. Thanks Spice Cottage. It was delicious.

Booked for four Sunday 7pm, arrived on time. Every thing, puppadoms, 2 starters, and mains seemed to arrive to quickly  no breaving space which lead me to question preperation and cooking times??? We were all out by 8.05.

Ordered 2 dishes curry was absolutely flavourless and the Dan Zak was sour like gone off milk, very disappointing not to mention the onion bhajis were burnt, waste of money wont be ordering from here again.

Lovely meal. Fantastic tasty meal. Very friendly and quick service thankyou.

Really basic plain and most probably microwaved food. No fresh lamb and chicken or anything else for that matter. Had a belly ache within minutes. The Fanta was cold though which was a plus.

A very simple restaurant. Bring your own drinks which was not a problem . The food is superb , all the dishes had it's own unique flavour and colour It was piping hot and well cooked. Staff friendly.

Came up from London to Broadstairs for the bank holiday weekend. Ordered a curry tonight. I think…Doesn’t really resemble any curries I’ve had before back in London.  Everything was bland and tasteless from the okra to the chicken tikka masala to the prawn curry. Edible but just not enjoyable.  They can keep a star because we had a good laugh when we opened up the mutter paneer to find no cheese in it, only to then realise that they’d used what I can only assume was mozzarella and it had melted into a big goopy cheese and pea mess. To be fair it was quite an interesting fusion dish, but definitely wasn’t a mutter paneer.  Maybe the chef was having a but of an off day or it was just because it was a busy bank holiday weekend rush?

Really lovely curry with great flavour and spices. You can take your own booze which is a bonus in my eyes and remember to take cash as they don’t take cards. Don’t expect anything posh just enjoy the food.

This was the blandest curry i have ever eaten. I hope your chef was just having a bad day. The meat was well cooked but the flavour was not there at all.. the paneer also had raw peas and onions in, gross...

Had an absolutely lovely takeaway meal delivered to my door yesterday. The quantity and quality is always first class from Spice Cottage and never disappoints.
