An excellent computer repair and maintenance service. We have used Speedy PC's for several years and have always been completely satisfied. They have dealt with viruses, increased the RAM and hard disk memories on our Laptops and PC's, and expertly recommended suitable external storage devices. Every transaction was dealt with courteously,and promptly, and represented particularly good value for money. Furthermore, they have always met timescales we have specified.
I had problems with my CPU, took it here to get a diagnosis to identify the problem. It took about 2 weeks for these guys to identify the cpu was broken, even though I mentioned this was likely the issue. Asked them to fix it, there ordered in a replacement cpu and installed it, however by this point it was approaching 3.5 to 4 weeks since I originally took the pc in. Upon return, I noticed the CPU was only running at 0.8GHz rather than the anticipated 3.2GHz, so basically rendered my PC slow and useless. Was surprised this wasn't identified before they returned PC claiming it had been fixed. Got back in-touch to highlight this and was told they would get back to me however I haven't heard anything since. That was 2 weeks ago, so I assume they have just decided to dingy it. - based on my experience, this company is not very competent, slow and potentially dishonest. On the plus side, the member of staff in the Partick branch was friendly throughout.
Great help diagnosing an obscure BIOS-memory interaction on a kit-build gamer PC. Charged a very reasonable labour rate.
Really recommended! Excellent staff is always polite willing to help!
