I take my daughter here for glasses and I also wear them myself. I give it 5 stars because I can't justify giving it less. Wide range of specs and helpful helpful staff. My daughter is nervous and when she goes they make her feel calm. Talk her through everything. From the assistants to the opticians themselves....fantastic service and reasonable prices.

Went in for a routine eye test, went in just before my appointment time but was seen to immediately. Staff were professional and friendly and explained the process from start to finish. Would definitely recommend to someone who wants an eye test in the future.

The last few times I've visited here it's just been like a cattle market, both visits my prescription glasses have been the wrong prescription and my last I ended up paying for a prism placing in my glasses that was costly, and getting referred to the hospital, naturally I was worried, inbetween waiting to go to the hospital I rung the branch to express my concerns over my new lenses I couldn't see a thing and I'd hit the curb when driving they were impossible to see through! The call handler told me I had to get use to them and I must wear them regardless, On my visit to the hospital optimist he couldn't understand why I had them fitted and said to me if I had forced myself to wear these lenses I would have permanently damaged my eyes, great!!! So I went back in and there was a right carry on, obviously they weren't happy with me they might that very clear, and I was refunded the cost of the prism, but then they refused to accept my sons prescription from the eye clinic at pinderfields... I must have talked to numerous members of staff who gave me various reasons... a female optometrist very rude to my 8 year old son explaining if he didn't look at the wall correctly she would put eye drops in his eyes then he would have something to cry about! My son is petrified of having his eyes tested. She definatley helped him!!! Specsavers for me and other members of my family definatley has been a pleasant experience... I'd rather pay for a service and be completely happy with what I've recieved, than pick a cheaper option and have zero effort given to me in return, there's not a price on your eyesight, and I very silly error might have cost me mine
