i went to this specsavers and got new lenses because they told me my prescription has gotten worse in one eye and better in the other. as soon as i put on my new glasses i couldn’t see. they told me i’d get used to the glasses but i didn’t as they caused me migraines. i went back and got retested. they admitted they got it wrong. but when i went and got my new glasses again i still couldn’t see as they were too weak. i went to speak to them about it but they told me it’s my fault i can’t see and told me it’s my fault i have migraines. my glasses are yet to be sorted. will not be returning. the staff are rude, incompetent and condescending to customers with genuine concerns.
Booked an eye test online, with confirmation proof of todays date. Took time off work, turned up and the booking system states it’s booked for next week. Staff member in the shop was very unhelpful with a strong non caring attitude. Don’t waste your time here, go somewhere else.
Great experience in the last week fir both my glasses and contact lenses appointments, topped off at the end by great service from Adam who phoned me after I’d left, to see if I’d left my car park ticket behind…and I had!
My lenses were ok after a chech up the problem was I sat on my glasses apparently not repairable and in the hole shop my lenses won't fif any frames wat a joke. Won't be going back
Shocking behaviours of some staffs at Farnborough. Waited for 20 mins in the waiting area for my appt and the staff didn't sign me in. Opticians very impolite and rude and belittles me. Who do they think they are? Are they over stressed or something? Or just being racist? Shocking
Every thing went very easily with the testing etc. I am very pleased with the frames I chose and the lenses are perfect ,and I am well happy with the tinting ,it saves carrying my shades around with me. the only down side is the single vision lenses ,I should have opted for varifocal but that was my own fault not yours.
Really helpful staff, i took my daughters glasses in yesterday, I didn't have an appointment as I didn't realise before I got there that I still needed one to see someone. As they were the pair I had on the NHS the lady was more than happy to take them and within the hour she had replaced the frame and done all the adjustments needed.
Very good COVID safety procedure. Eyes test and exam was thorough and fully professional. Not that many frames to select and had long wait until someone had to offer for help. One of the staff may be the lead who first ignored us did tell that one of our selected frame was not the right size. So without any assistance we had to get the right one from the wall. It did not reflect the good customer service.
Really bad if you just want to get an eye test and your prescription. There is always some 'problem' that prevents them from giving you your prescription so you have to go back. I recommend Boots in Farnborough instead. Ridiculously expensive for high index lenses. Try Asda instead.
Very good professional and friendly service. Shout out to Erich for being super helpful.
