We have been customers of Specsavers for many years, and in particular the Downpatrick store. There is one member of staff who we love to see and that's Annmarie, I have never seen her without a smile on her face. She remembers us every time and we are a family of 6 who all wear glasses, she tried to teach my sons how to use contact lenses, success with one but not the other, it wasn't for want of trying on her behalf but we had to admit defeat, he just couldn't do it. We were in again today with my 13 year old daughter and I don't think I am joking when I say she tried on 500 pairs of glasses, and despite me getting totally fed up with the whole process, Annmarie prevailed and continued to smile through it until we finally achieved the impossible and my daughter settled on a pair. I do hope feedback is given to the staff members, as I think it is incredibly important to give credit where credit is due. I am a nurse and unfortunately am only too aware of how quick people are to complain but sometimes quite reluctant to thank someone or congratulate them on a job well done! So big Thank You to Annmarie and to all the staff in Downpatrick, here's hoping when we are back next week to collect her glasses my daughter has not changed her mind and decided on another pair!!!
It was my first visit to specsavers in downpatrick and the staff are so lovely and welcoming and had me at ease with my eye tests I would highly recommend for anyone needing glasses to go and I love my new glasses 5 star

I have found the experience in Specsavers to be excellent every time I have needed them. The staff have wonderful customer care, smiling, helpful and reassuring around choosing frames and fitting. Assessment was very thorough. Discussion and review have been helpful and each staff member has been extremely attentive. Pleasure to be there.
Specsavers Downpatrick the epitome of efficiency. Made appointment answered questions about covid kept appointment. Met at door temperature tested very pleasant person led into waiting area. Usual examinations for pressure etc.all very friendly . Met Katie Nugent who examined my eyes who didn’t pressure me to buy new frames but who accompanied me to pick same…excellent service all around from all staff . When I was leaving I noticed a little girl that Katie had just examined crying . Katie was comforting her which I thought was exceptionally kind to do it personally . Glasses came very quickly and need no adjustment.

Tuesday 21st January. Had an appointment with spec savers Downpatrick customer service was excellent. Laura attended to me she is so customer focused and seems to love her job. You should be very happy that you have Laura working for yous. She is an absolute brilliant young lady.
Staff were extremely rude asking my age and why was I here me being small for my age the one star is for the fact I got my glasses for free but overall staff can be rude. This does not help the fact I in general struggle with socialising due to autism, what a disgrace
Great little opticians. I go here to get my eyes checked, and the staff are always friendly and helpful.
