Called to see about arranging an appointment for my daughter as she had been complaining of a sore eye, lady who answered the phone Jane? was extremely dismissive and stated firmly that they had no triage appointments available, genuinely wasn’t looking for this, just wanted to arrange an appointment. A little bit of customer service goes a long way.
Great service. Optician and other staff were really great and very helpful
Very good service very intensive eye testing every part of the procedure explained in detail fantastic staff friendly and supportive.
2 year checkup today, prompt, friendly, professional and thoroughly reassuring tests. Honest assessment of my requirements, no hard sell, made some minor repairs to my specs and two new cases free of charge. Excellent service deserving of my continued loyalty.
Friendly staff, excellent service
Fast, efficient service with friendly, competent staff. Recently steered me through cataract procedure in both eyes and glasses update, successfully.
Staff were grossly unhelpful and bordered on incompetent. Service / experience was so bad I will never set foot in a Specsavers again. There are countless other opticians locally that simply have to be better than this store. Save yourself a whole lot of frustration and head to local retailers in Bonnyrigg or cheaper better service at Costco.
Very efficient, polite staff and pretty good value for money.
Recently had an eye test and I have to say Manuel was exceptional he explained things really well , he explained the difference in the distance of my reading glasses in relation to the distance from my work computers it all suddenly made sense as to why I often had to move the computers. Mary who gave me assistance in choosing my glasses was also very good and was honest about the style that suited me most. I have went to specsavers in Dalkeith since 2009 and I can honestly say Manuel has been the best optician I have ever had.
