Thank you for all your help and assistance. The service I received from several members of staff was top notch. They couldn't do enough to help me and assisted with a change of mind too. The new staff there are fabulous and service was 110%
I had a test March 2021, paid £222.50. Less than 18 months later my glasses were falling apart plus Covid had deteriorated my vision. I booked another appt July 2022 which I paid for, I was advised to try varifocals to stop swapping my glasses. Paid £282. When I collected them, I said that I couldn’t use them. Advised to give them time. Called back a month later and advised to make an appt to see the manager. I met her in sept. I was given a new pair of glasses, more compatible to my lenses. I collected them I wasn’t pleased as I couldn’t use them. I was told to give them time. I went in again and noticed a bold “NO REFUND” written across my notes !! I knew at that instance that I wasn’t going to get anywhere. So 540.50 pounds out of pocket, 21 months later I still cannot see. I’m will never use Specsavers again!! Plus I have heard from many, many people with the same complaint from the same branch. Fabulous treatment, UNTIL you dare to complain or try and get a refund !!
I had an amazing experience at Ammanford Specsavers! I was sent from Carmarthen to Ammanford due to them being more experienced in the condition I was diagnosed with. From the moment I got there they went absolutely above and beyond for my care. Gavin was incredibly helpful, friendly and reassuring. He and the staff even allowed time after closing to make sure that I had everything I needed for my treatment. I have now made a move to Ammanford Specsavers even though it is further for me to travel with the reassurance that I will be looked after incredibly well. I don't normally write reviews but Gavin and his team so deserve to be recognised as a great opticians
The worst opticians, don’t go!! Unhelpful rude staff. Be warned if you are buying anything as they will say you have an outstanding balance for months
It was all right , as usual they tried to make me buy glasses for over £100 .but I buy £2 pair from were ever
Very friendly and helpful staff. Took the time to ensure my glasses were right for me. Clean environment high standard of COVID regulations. Would not hesitate to recommend to anyone.
I had a lovely experience here for my eye test, and I returned the following day to choose some frames. I found the staff very helpful and professional
My son took his glasses in to be adjusted which were then unfortunately broken by a staff member. He was handed back a broken pair and told a replacement would be ordered FOC and he would receive a call that week. Despite messages left to return our calls it took over a week to finally speak with the store who denied all knowledge and told him he must have visited a different store? Long story short, he was eventually told a replacement frame had not been ordered and it would cost him £60 to order one. The manager was meant to phone me the next day and I am still waiting four days on. The customer service has gone down hill I would not recommend this particular branch. I would not expect to leave an optician with a pair of broken glasses having to call at Tesco to purchase sticky tape to attempt a repair to be able to drive home! Three members of my household have been here for over 12 years I believe it’s time to leave a corporate franchise and seek an optician that puts customers service first!
The staff are great, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. I would have given 5 stars if it wasn't for the price of my new glasses......
Had a problem with my eye got seen the same day and prescribed anti biotic plus a follow up. Really friendly reassuring staff, very professional. couldn't do enough to help me. Inside its very clean spacious and airy. Loads of glasses to choose from. Swift service. Only issue is getting through on the phone line as they are never answered but I turned up and was seen that day. Overall would definitely recommend and I will use again for general eye test etc. All covid measure in places as per the current guidelines
