I've always enjoyed my treatment since they started at Tras Street. Their therapists like Li Juan and Pei Yi are very friendly and professional. However my recent experience is very disappointing and frustrating just like what previous reviews mentioned. The management decided to stop some treatment and I was not notified in advance. Neither did they tell me when they reconfirm my appointment the day before or when I was waiting at the reception. They asked me to top up $80 to upgrade my current treatment when I had changed and ready to start. This is very unprofessional. I did not agree and the other option given was to combine 2 sessions into 1 session to let me try the new treatment. I paid for 6 sessions so now become now 3 sessions. Do I feel cheated? YES OF COURSE but what choice do I have now since the treatment I signed for is no longer available. After my treatment, I feedback again to the receptionist and their response was just cold about it. No doubt that their treatments are pleasant, the tactic used to upsell and the way they handled such feedback was totally unacceptable. Hopefully the management IS looking into it like they replied in previous reviews.
Used to be good and no pushy sales. But recently very pushy sales. Anyway I was lured into buying this new package somehow with current one still running. Then after 1 month, an upgraded machine came out, in such short time, and buy 5 get 5. How would you feel as a consumer? Then the sales didn’t care how you feel cheated and still continued to push you to get a new package. To add on, the therapist came out, and rubbed more salt into wound by adding side comments and was not even real and the selling continued. After thinking back, I also realized the treatment was shorter than previous. I just felt short changed. The whole experience left a bad taste till now. I am a customer for almost 10 yrs.
Hi, i’m giving a review as i’m frustrated. Like the previous reviewer, they are really hard selling and have tried to get me to upgrade my packages on almost every visit this makes my visits very stressful and I did so for the first few visits as every deal seemed to be a better one. However, what’s really annoying is the lack of a transparent system to keep track of your visits. They make you sign on an electronic pad but you’ve zero visibility on the total number of sessions you’ve signed up for and the number of sessions left this gets really confusing when you’ve upgraded your package midway through an existing package with all the conversions etc. It ends up a debate session where it’s your words against the receptionist’s words. To avoid such conflicts and confusion, may I suggest that you let your customers look at their sessions records before signing of? Most beauty salons I visit do that.
Worst Facial I have ever had. I bought a 3 session package with Fave for facial at Revive West Coast. It started off strange because I had called on Tuesday to book an appointment for the very same day, but none were available. The next day, someone from the clinic miss calls me. When I call back, he tells me that I had given them a miss call, which was why he was calling back. I said I had already spoken to someone. He then asks what it was regarding and I said it's fine, I already spoke with someone. He insisted on knowing what it was regarding, which I felt was quite rude, but since I already bought a package, I made an appointment for yesterday anyway. Then I went down yesterday and was told all the massage parts of the package I bought were no longer available because they are no longer a spa. The same man who had called me then tried to get me to top up for other services which I didn't want - I wanted the services that had been advertised. If it's not in the package, then they really need to stop advertising it, but I checked, and it's still on Fave right now. The same man also happened to be the facial technician, and he was really unprofessional and sketchy because he couldn't or wouldn't give me a straight answer whenever I asked. I asked if my nose would be red the next day, and he proceeded to try and convince me to add on services for my facial. I had to ask him 3 times before he would tell me if my nose would be red the next day. He then told me to avoid going out in the sun for the next 3 days after doing the facial, to which I asked him what would happen if I did. I had to ask him a few times before he would give me a straight answer which wasn't even a very good answer. I still have 2 more treatments in my package, but I'm definitely not going back there.
My worst facial! I was there parkway branch because my package needs to be converted from Massage to Facial due to change of ownership. So I have a trial of their lifting Facial. When I was there, I was told that their machine uses nano needles to be used on my skin. I’m very concerned of the needles but was reassured that it’s very small needles which doesn’t harm or enlarge my pores. The whole procedure is very biting, uncomfortable and my face becomes reddish which she say is normal. I couldn’t see clearly but when I reach home after removing the sunblock, I saw lotsa red spots on my face!!! The procedure not only DOES NOT lift my face but also left my face with ugly patches! Please DO NOT GO!! Full of regrets!
Disappointment and frustration. I was a customer for many years from the days when they were located in Beach Road & Tras Street I can't remember which one first though. I am shocked to receive a call on Sep 11 from their staff from The Central outlet telling me that they are moving out on Sep 16 I had a hard time trying to schedule appointments earlier and my MLD package, mind you, is left with 76 sessions - one new package which I have not even started and the remaining 16 sessions were from my old package will no longer be offered after the move. So I asked her what will they do then? She said I can convert or top up but I told them I do not want. In addition, I have another 23 remaining IPL sessions. I told them since they do not offer massages anymore, then it is fair that I have a refund as I should not be penalized to convert/top up my package just bcoz they do not offer massages anymore. The staff told me to write to her boss, Ms Jonnie and I did. After the initial email, I sent follow up emails over one week and unfortunately did not hear back at all. I called today and was told that they will call me back. Even if you are investigating or looking into the matter, at least have the courtesy to write/call me and give a timeline to respond back. I shall wait and see what comes next. I think this is not the way to treat your customers. I am sure that many customers with massage packages are in the same situation as me. Why force us to convert our packages and after reading the terrible reviews on their facial services, why would I want to even convert and take another risk? In this review, I would not even want to give it a one star but in order for me to share with others my bad experience, I have to rate them. Given a choice, I will not even give them one star.
Have been a customer for abt 1 yr - my body masseur has been really great - no issue with her service. Just I am not very happy with the shop structure after they moved to Parkway parade from Clarkquay. I was just there today and had to bear with facial machine noisy from next doors for 1 full hr mix of sewing machine + water gun + beeping sound - couldnt relax at all and cant take it. Very disappointing. Stongly recommend the owner to get the massage in the same condition for 1 hr.
Have bought a package with them and have never regretted it since. Am on my 5th Session for Brazilian IPL, and so far so good. Results showed within first few sessions, with significantly slower hair growth. The service there is great as well, and they focus a lot on customer comfort, especially during the session itself. Highly recommended! :
I have been Revive customer for more than a decade sincd Tras St, service was really great until new mgmt took over. They abruptly close venue at Clark Quay and transfer customer to West Coast and Parkway Parade, which are far from town and not accessible by mrt. Then management no longer offers package which I signed up for. Luckily, there is still HLD and my masseur Wan Jun who is really great is still around. If not for masseur, I will ask for refund as my original intent is for massage. Taking about Parkway parade branch, this place is not condusive for massage as rooms are not proper and enclosed. Rooms are just separated by 2+m partitions and I don't feel safe when fully undressed. There is no privacy as I can hear other customer conversation and I can see red IPL flashes from neighbouring room. What an experience. 5 stars for Wan Jun & staff but 1 star for new venue and mgmt.
Though is really a bit f-----a----r for me, I prefer parkway to central. The new parkway looks very cosy and neat. The positive feeling breaks the inconvenience. I have never being here before. I'm surprised that this mall has so much to offer. In my opinion, Central is too big and too cold at the reception. Parkway is very cosy and i definitely like the idea that it is at the medical level and has a hair salon too. One stop for head to toe. Very smart move. Though I still think is far for me but since my treatment is only once a week or a fortnight, i take it as my shopping trip to parkway. Gosh, this place is so huge that I can find everything I needed. And there is giant and daiso, even hour glass! Wooooooh-woh-woh, no I'm not paid to advertise for parkway but you obviously can tell I really like it here. And yes! I better say some pleasing words or my aesthetician will be upset with me since we know each other for few years and i promised to write a good review because she really did a great job. I'm very tanned and have saggy skin as i go under the sun for fishing very often. I had power nano and power transdermal done on my face and i can see the instant and lasting results. This super power treatment series lifted my skin and i am 2 shades lighter, hahahah, can't believe it. They told me is a regenerative treatment that helps my face to regenerate and true enough, my face is very lifted, tightened and smoothened. My open pores are minimized instantly. I asked if this is like botox, they told me no. Botox is temporary but the power series are regenerating. ok I have written enough. All i ask is please quickly open a centre in town and also please lower the price for the power series. Is very good treatment. Please make everyone be able to afford it. thank you. Oh i did renew my package because i need the treatment. i will write my review after my next. bye!
