Absolutely wonderful Afternoon tea for our daughter's 14th Birthday. Just Mummy and Daughter and such precious memories. Afternoon tea was fabulous, 10/10!! Scones were the lightest we've ever had, I went for the cheese scone and it was scrumptious. The sandwiches were filled deeply and tasted wonderfully fresh. Even the bread was delicious.nThe garden was stunning in the sunshine and the service was great considering how busy it was.nWe'll definitely be back!! A*****
Visited for breakfast. First waitress who met me asked if I wanted drinks. I said I'd ordered in full as people were joining me. She said 'No' and showed to me to an outdoor table. Waited too long for someone to take order. This waitress and all others who served us were lovely. Food was very disappointing. Sausages had bits of bone in, therefore not eaten. Two drinks given as way of apology however item should have been taken off the bill. I didn't push this as it was not the fault of the waitress. Bombarded by wasps the whole time we were there. Overall not a great experience and we will not be returning.
We had booked a table for 7 of us on a Saturday lunch time.... needless to say it was very busy! The food is absolutely delicious! It has to be one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time! Great food. Great atmosphere. Top quality. Staff were very helpful and friendly.
My husband and I popped in at lunchtime,we sat in the garden.nStaff were very friendly.nWe had afternoon tea for two.nThe sandwiches we amazing,they had lots of filling and the bread was very nice.nThe scones were so light and fluffy.nWe had to get a box for the cake so that we could take home and eat later.nThis was our second visit and our favourite tea room.nThe village of Southwick is like stepping back in time and very pretty.
